I have to admit I wanted White, but there is so much depth at WR, getting Williams iis like Christmas coming early.
Not sure what this means for Wilkerson, but i bet the Jets will be less willing to listen to his agent babble on!

If Wilerson wants more money, he's going to have to earn it!!!
Now get me another WR..Dorsett or Green-Beckham!!!

We have become terrible in the draft, nothing else to say. Other than Sheldon, the last few years have been tough to take. Williams may turn out very good but he will just take snaps from other top players on the team. This move is puzzling

If we're using the 6th overall pick for depth that doesn't sound like a good thing at all.

Instead of paying Mo they'll trade him, so we effectively let a proven commodity walk in Mo for a maybe talent (sound familiar cough Milliner and Revis), basically cancels out the first round draft pick.

Doesn't sound like something a competent franchise would do.

"Best player in the draft" is so much BS. If that's true why did the Buccs, Titans, Jags, Raiders, and Redskins pass? They passed because they match BPA with need which until we have 30 1st round d-line on the 53 man roster I don't think we'll understand. We have the best d-line in football why did we spend the #6 on adding to it.

Were any of those guys labeled the potential best player in the entire draft? Stop looking for reasons to whine.

Exactly, there's nothing to be excited about. We just had a beast DL last year and finished 4-12. Why not try something new? Didn't this regime learn anything from the past regime's mistakes? You can load up on CB and DL until the cows come home, but at some point, you need to bring in young elite talent on offense too

I think we are going to use a nickel base D, it is a perfect fit with a 4 man line

While that may be the most logical thing to do now it's not guaranteed.

Do you know how many teams pass on the best player in the draft every year?

Many of the experts said Williams was the best player in the draft. The Jets didn't expect to see him at #6. They did use the entire clock so Mac was listening to offers. Now the Jets are in position to trade Wilk if they want to.

Todd Bowles is not set to one defense, he is great because he likes to make adjustments. I imagine Rex Ryan is going WTF right now haha

Exactly. The Raiders and Jaguars could have used this guy big time and they both passed. They actually had holes at Williams position too. Maccagnan got too excited seeing this guy still on the board, he didn't think the fit through. Drafted on emotion, not with this head
