As much as we needed a receiver, I'm always scared of guys that shoot up the draft board during the combine. You can't miss on your first round picks, so Leonard Williams is a great pick.

He is going to play on top of opposing QBs.

I think we might want to prepare to win games like we did with Sanchez...... We won't score much, but our defense might kill teams.......

I get that people wanted offense, but we just drafted the guy people have been calling the best defensive player in the draft for the last 3 months. There were mock drafts that had him going as high as 2 when people still thought Wisenhunt wasn't sold on MM. You just don't pass up a talent like that. You take the best player you can get your hands on.

There was always someone who's gonna be unhappy. We got the best player in the entire draft. Period.

Isnt he a little too lean for a 3-4 dt? I just dunno where hes going to play. Thats my only problem. They must be going ot trade wilk to no or something

Totally agreed. BPA. Better to hit on a non-need than to miss on one.

Really we can still get wr 2nd round or trade Wilkerson to get back into the 1st

We are fine and got arguably best Ayer in entire draft

I'm guessing Plan B is Glennon or Mettenberger. I think both of those guys are decent enough if we can get em on the cheap

Love it, absolutely BPA no question. Had to make this pick.
White could be a combine stud, Strong, DGB, Dorsett...Plenty later on. We have Brandon f'n Marshall, Decker and Kerley.

Mac stuck to his guns and said he would follow BPA for their board. As puzzling as it might be to some, the 4 of those guys on the front line is flat our scary.

Lets not forget the secondary is stacked right now, this just made them even better.
