http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/art...s-Tender/a85eda33-e1fb-440c-a110-fcb26d83be68 Jarrett is one of the most underrated players on our team imo. He was even named AFC defensive player of the week one time. I think that our group of Calvin Pryor, Jarrett, Antonio Allen, and Gilchrist will be one of the best groups in the league. Some fans think we need a safety, but with those 4 guys I think we're set.
Turns out he is a friend of my physical therapist. He has an autographed Jarrett jersey hanging in his treatment room. When I said "of course I know who he is," my therapist gave me a big bear hug. Too bad my therapist is a Giant fan.
Agreed, but I think he has the potential to be more than a backup in this D. Pryor has one spot pretty much locked up, but the other safety spot is very much up for grabs. Gilchrist is prob. the favorite given that he's a FA signed by the new regime, but if he underperforms or gets hurt, I think Jarrett could step in and be very productive. I also like Allen, I think he's underrated as well. I remember a few games where he really made a big impact for us, including key interceptions. I think our entire secondary is going to be outstanding this year, along with our D-line of course. So, if the LB corps can be improved a little bit, mainly if we can draft a good pass rushing OLB this defense will have no holes, and could be one of the best in the league!
I don't have that much hope for Jarret the backfields kind of deep and he is gonna have to fight for playing time.He showed some unbelivable flashes last year ,that Steeler game performance that helped break our losing streak was amazing. What an epic game he had 2 ints ,1 sack a forced fumble and a bunch of tackles
Whew I was worried. Not really sold on Gilchrist. So many question marks with him. Is he better in the box or is he horrible in coverage. Jarrett and Allen at least offer depth. Also not really happy with the year Pryor had. He was suppose to be an enforcer. he didn't hit anyone all year.
Good shit! Bowles is gonna run with 3 sometimes 4 safeties on the field at all times. I like our guys. Allen Gilchrist Pryor and Jarrett.
That's really funny! because when I first saw it I thought: "boy the OP really butchered the spelling there" hahahaha
