    Vernon Gholston.
    #6 Pick, 42 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 forced fumbles, 0 fumble recoveries, 0 interceptions.
Over 600 NFL players recorded a sack during the time he was on the Jets.

Could make a case these were worse picks:

    Johnny Lam Jones

    Ron Faurot

Everyone's definition of a bust will slightly differ but gholston may take the cake, hands down. There are so many to pick from......Carl barsilauskas, lam jones, Ron faurot, mike haight, roger Vick, Blair Thomas, Kyle Brady, Kyle Wilson, and up to possibly dee milliner.

    Oy that is depressing

Gholston of course, at least Lam Jones played for a few years. He even had 700 yards on 43 receptions for a 17+ average one of those year, he wasn't half as bad as people remember his as being..what he wasn't was the next Bob Hayes which is what he was touted to be before he was drafted.

Blair Thomas and Dewayne Robertson. Vernon the Ghost is the indisputable #1 all time Jets draft bust.

    Mike Haight
    Gholston

People who say Lam Jones fail to realise ..he wasnt all pro but he did contribute....none of the above did in anyway

The sad thing is that this is actually a very debatable subject.

I'd say Vernon Gholston followed by Blair Thomas and Johnny Lam Jones.

Oh sorry, That was Anthony Becht. If he had any semblance of average hands, he would have been a Pro-Bowler.

there have been a million good things since the day after the SB. I wouldn't want to pollute another Hackett thread w/ some actual positivity though.
