Glass buried Gelina, he had tweety birds flying around his head...Girardi flattened Ruutu...I must have counted 34 interference penalties they didn't call

Glass nailed him good. AV likes Glass and Glass is there for physicality. And he does the job. AV seems to have a great read on when to go that way.

I was down on Girardi a little like some other fans. But he has come on now, and has had a bit of surge. Which I'm happy about. Maybe Girardi got tired against the Devils and Kings. The team was fatigued against the Devils, under Torts.

I'm happy they strived for the best record and home ice. They didn't have to pull up and rest. Don't turn it off going in, Come what may.

its alot easier to keep it going than it is to turn it back on again, press on and start mowing them down one game at a time.

Girardi has had to cover up for McD, who has had an unstable year

Staal, Nash and Zuccarello get the night off. Let's make sure that everyone does everything necessary to avoid injury, eh, boys? You don't want to get a key player injured fighting for a 50/50 puck against a desperate team. No checking, no blocking and no skating at more than three quarter speed please.

Until he plays the rest of the game..... and they tell me he's okay in TWO days, I'm worrying

That was a very dull game and it made me very happy. I'll be even happier if Florida can hang on.

I don't much care the spot, I just want in on the party. Although if I have a choice I want Montreal, which probably means 7th.

Rags lied down like dogs tonight. Many thanks from an Isles fan!. Thank you (sincerely) Florida. I hope the Rangers draw the Sens or the Isles in the first round. Nail biting time for the Rangers and their fans. Rangers will probably luck out and play the Pens in the first round.

Luck out? I dont care if it is the Sens or the fish...We will beat any team in round 1 becaues this team truly is the best team this season so far and if this proves anything they should continue it in playoffs

Rags, clever, can't just come in here and talk hockey, yeah, we lucked out winning the Presidents Trophy and 52 games...if you want to talk hockey, I'm happy for the Isles making the playoffs, Caps/Isles will be a war

Poe, why the fuck was Hank playing in a game where 1/2 the team was from Hartford?

You can't have him going into the playoffs cold when he's just had a 25 game layoff, and you can't wrap him in cotton wool. That was actually a really good game to play him in, the Rangers weren't hitting hard and it was clear that neither team wanted to be especially physical. The Sens aren't the kind of team that represent a big risk to a goalie other than something accidental happening.
