So, they just announced that this year's camp will be in Florham Park. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/art...ing-Camp/17a75803-dfb9-414a-8c59-a7a1681be940 Positive: I'll be able to attend, take pics and post updates. Negative: Do they plan on building bleachers there? That place is awful to watch them practice.
Yea I thought I heard the reason they never camped there was because it wasn't accommodating for training camp
They build a state of the art training complex and forget to accommodate their most important clients, the fans. They could easily install more bleachers there.
There was a sign two years ago at Florham Park that did say: "if needed, fans may feel free to sit on Vlad Ducasse.
I'm happy about this as I can now attend camp but as others have stated, they need to install bleachers.
Nice. I live literally 4 minutes away from the facility. Can't wait for Green-White scrimmage. I will invite some friends over and we will BBQ and then head over to watch the game. Perfect.
I hope you don't smoke your bbq because whenever I sit in stadium seats next to a guy that spends 10 hours smoking meat I want to drag him into the bathroom and douse him in dirty toilet water just to make him smeel better by the end of the game
Love the move! I can attend a few days/practices now, on my days off from work. It'll be easy for them to install bleachers, I'm not worried about that..
Don't hold your breathe for bleachers . They don't give a shit about the fans . PSL's , for example . Woody just wants to sell tickets .
Pretty pumped. I can walk to the facility from where I reside. Petrozza is correct, they need bleachers.
I was hoping they'd choose Farmingdale State (because it's close to me on LI) but they don't even have football facilities there. Or Hofstra but I'm sure the place needs a lot of work and doesn't compare to Florham Park. So probably a good decision for the Jets but not for me.
I miss when it was at Hofstra. It was always hot as hell and they had those blow up slides and stuff that were almost melting from the sunlight. Memories....
