    Frankly I don't give a damn about Fireman Ed, he does nothing for me. Just don't petition one way or the other on this forum. This is like the most random threads on the guy. It's like some folks are campaigning the guy out there

    We need to bring him back as a punching-bag/piniata. Put his ugly frumpy woman face on a big stuffed inflatable in the Metlife Lobby and invite everyone to take a swing as hard as they can. First one to disfigure him beyond what he was born with wins a ticket upgrade

    thats right people need to read the whole story about how he quit before they call him a quitter. We shouldn't jump to conclusions by calling him a quitter when he all he did was quit.

    It's been bad in the stadium since he left, the drumline crap was lame as hell, and the letter per section was highly unorganized. Could also be cause the team has been awful, but I remember years when the Jets sucked and the chant was still loud.

    There should be someone to lead the charge. Personal views of Ed aside, he actually did a good job of getting the chant going.
