Has anyone heard anything about mr. Dozier?? I have heard nothing, even with all the talk about our guard position it seems likes hes forgotten. Anybody got anything?? id love to see him compete or challenge for a spot so we i dont ever have to see winters trot out for a snap again.
Why would anybody hear about him, he's a depth draft pick that the current CS probably has watched limited film about and probably hasn't even met yet. I'll be surprised if we hear anything about him before July
Dozier: not a bad 'reach' draft pick: straight-up strong, albeit klutzy, slow-footed---much like Aboushi. The Duke kid Laken Tomlinson would be a nicer upgrade. Better push with better feet.
Idzy drafted Winters, Aboushi, William Campbell, and then Dozier. Are we gonna get a fuckin thing out of one of them? Hopefully Dozier.
Wouldn't call him a reach at all. He was great value late in the fourth and certainly has more potential than out first pick that round Jalen Saunders. He was inactive all last year. That's part of the problem with not firing Rex post the bye - we have little tape on the young guys.
Yeah that may be the worst part of keeping Rex till the end of the season, and it sucks. The best part about it is we'll be playing against a bunch of 40 year old players in Buffalo in a couple years
Who's Dakota Dozier? Was this one of Idziks peice of shit draft picks that most people have forgotten exist?
These guys could all be trash. Or they could develop into ok to good o-linemen. Actually wasn't Aboushi ok. He started games after Winters was injured and played alright. He wasn't over his head. And Winters was a starter until he got hurt. Look these guys aren't Vlad or Hunter. Two of them have made a contribution. Btw the Jets re-signed Colon. I think it was a good move.
Speaking of our 12 draft picks, let's not forget Shaq Evans, or Campbell, or IK, or Trevor Reilly, or that other receiver we drafted. We might have some young talent on this team who we barely remember drafting. Then again, we may just have some young JAGs.
So funny that people are just trashing this guy because we saw nothing from him during one of the worst seasons we ever had. Nobody ever expected anything from Jonathan Goodwin after stupid Bradway who sucked at building offensive lines drafted him but he ended up walking from us and going to the Saints and 49ers after that, starting at center and getting a ring, 2 SB appearances and going to the Pro Bowl Sometimes it takes an interior lineman longer than 1 season to develop
I guess we have different interpretations, because I thought he looked subpar even considering he was a rookie
Right. Enuwa, the WR too. They still have a chance. Anything we get at this point would be gravy. Still hopeful for a contribution. Not sure if you mean William Campbell. I believe he was released last year.
Oops, I actually meant Jeremiah George but he's also gone That being said, we still have some young pieces who have yet to show much but (hopefully) have some potential.
