I know I was comparing Stills to not being like the young WR Wallace was at the steelers who literally only ran vertical routes. Stills like your link said has expanded his route running at a much younger age than wallace. Can't believe he;s only 22 with 2 years of NFL experience. Love it.

Yes I did As well and I'm not oppoSed to him I drafted him in my fantasy league his rookie year as a sleeper. I like stills. And yes he's an upgrade over hartline.

Issue is he has clearly benefitted from a Brees, a graham and a cooks. He was been surrounded by talent leaving him single covered w a hall of famer tossing him the ball.

If you don't believe me when I say he'll be nothing special in Miami outside of a few good games I'll just say, you'll see. Especially if Wallace ends up somewhere else next year.

For the third time. I do not dislike Kenny stills. At all.

I do think he will disappoint in Miami however. Especially if you cut Wallace.

And I watch redzone religiously. I'm not speaking from a point of not knowing.

He takes the top off defenses yes that's exactly what I said. I'm saying calling him well rounded is an overstatement.

Also I'm hardly bitter I'm actually quite happy at the moment.

You may not want to hear it bc suh is fun and new now. But that investment is going to kill the Dolphins in a few years. They aren't a player away and just invested $120 million in one guy. Just bc I'm generally not on board w what the Dolphins have done doesn't make me bitter.

For exAmple I love what buffalo is doing. I think Miami is just trying to play keep up.

Because NFL redzone shows even 10% of his route running LOL? . And yes he takes the top of defenses along with running other routes, it's already been proven it's not his go route in this thread. And you might not want to hear this but Suh's contract only hits hard next year and only 15 the following year. We have cap space next year and if we get rid of wallace this year or the next along with the cap space that will be added next year, it won't be an issue. Don't act like you're the cap guru we have in our franchise . With this roster we can easily get over the hump by drafting well, which is the key for every good team. Last year we got depth in the draft but most importantly a fully capable starting WR and and RT in their rookie years.

I get it. He's on your team so I guess you'll just have to see for yourself. My point on redzone is I know what goes on. I'm well versed in this league and sport on a pretty deep level. I'd say more than you but I can't tell bc this is what my friends and I call "itis" aka homerism. It happens to the best of us, myself surely included.

In before the stills point and random weird comment. I'll reiterate. I like Kenny stills the player. I absolutely hate him in Miami fit wise. The quarterback in particular is literally counter to his strengths. It reminds me a hell of a lot of Santana moss and chad Pennington. Santana's production here was severely limited by chads lack of a deep ball. Sure they hit one here and there. But had Santana played with a stronger armed qb here the results would have been better than above average. And for the record Santana moss at that time is a much better receiver than Kenny stills. At the same points and similar situations in their careers.

Thing is you don't know him if you still think he's strictly a deep threat which is far from the truth if you watched him last year and it's nearly impossible to get a good look at a receiver route running with NFL redzone which is why I suggest you get sunday ticket like me and you can watch any team like the saints last year and get a good assessment at his routes since you can watch all of them. You can ask any saints fan and you'd realize he runs several routes not just the 9. Last year it happened to me the hitch, which would be perfect for tannehill's skill set. Just because a player is fast doesn't mean it won't fit in our system, we aren't going to purposely start drafting slow receivers lol.

For the very last time I'll say this.

His strength is his deep game
The rest has improved but likely due to Brees graham and cooks having opened things up. Ahem lance Moore ahem
He obv runs several routes I'm not saying he doesn't. You just don't want to hear the truth regarding his main strength.
His strength is your quarterbacks weakness.

I simply don't know how else to say it.

His strength is his speed not just the deep game or he would be running mostly vertical routes which he does not. He's 22 and players improve every year at such a young age. By your logic Wallace would not have double digit TDs because he's strictly a deep threat unlike Stills. Speed is a bonus for any receiver running any route. Luckily Stills is a good route runner so he'll fit right in. And even when we use him to run the 9 and take the op of defences, it will benefit our 2 TE's in Clay and Cameron underneath.

Edit: and landry who plays underneath as well.
