Buying a Dodge is always a great investment!

But I'm not sure why people are talking about cars in the Cecil Shorts thread?

Why, because he was going to be a FA and we needed one or two at the time.

Everybody knows that.. I bet you didn't know that Mac isn't afraid of drafting a WR... :)

Shorts might take Kerley job. This would be a BIG signing

That's kinda the point, draft is an unknown. You could get a Coles, Moss, you could get a scrub like we've been getting... Hill, or seizure guy.
Renting a vet gives you a known player. It may not last as long... it may last longer.

I don't think the present FO has any such fear. The fans probably do.

He seemed hurt alot for the Jags

Also Browns are looking at him and they get a ton of money still so I think it's a long shot he lands here plus he's from there

Same deal when we brought in a few older receivers last summer who wound up getting cut. I'm fine with bringing him in, he won't be expensive enough where you wouldn't go WR if they were the BPA in the draft.

Seems you've lost your sense of humor Turk.. Hint: think TV commercial "I look around this room, and all I see is untapped potential..." :)

Point is, Mac will likely DRAFT a WR instead of leasing one IF MM is off the board. Especially now that the secondary makeover is complete.

I would rather they look into Stevie Johnson, another one who had great success with Gaily and is probably just as cheap after being cut.

How is it then that other teams manage to draft WR's if its so hard to do? Could it be that they know what they're looking for and in the past we didn't?

I'd rather them draft a WR then pick up Jacksonville's trash. Freakin Kerely is better than this guy. Don't get too FA signing happy.
