jeez..wait until you see the details before going all pussy on the contract..what's the guaranteed dollars? This isn't baseball you know.
Four years at $8mil per seems a bit much. Presumably structured similar to Revis' deal where he can be cut in the later years with no penalty. That could end up being a bit of a cause for concern if his hip becomes a nagging issue or he loses a step. But, ultimately, we've gone from...uhh...I don't even remember who are starting CBs were for the majority of last year...Walls? To Revis, Cro, Skrine, Milliner, McDougle (who I have little faith in but you never know) plus some depth guys. That's freaking night and day!

Figured. $8 million seems like a lot, but the amount of money these corners are getting is huge! Cromartie had an awesome year last year. He was due this money
Yes, Milliner plays well off the ball. Cromartie only plays well off the ball when he is adjusting on his own man after missing a cut. He plays well in that situation because of his speed and athletic ability.
milliner is best in zone when plays are in front of him ... could they be thinking about moving him to FS??
Surprised at both the years and money but let's get real, there's no way he's seeing the 4th year or probably even 3rd year of that contract. I wanted 3 new CBs this offseason and got just that so I'm happy.
Doubt it. Pryor is here and we have been looking into signing a safety like Gilchrist. I don't think they trust Milliner at all right now
Okay I'm happy about this, then. If we can just get one more piece on defense (a more capable OLB or a true FS), we will be the best defense in the league IMO.
What in the fuck? Did we just drop $8 mil a year on Cromartie? Wow. I need to see details, but that's epically bad.
Told you guys he was worth that much. I am glad to hear that we have him locked up for the next four years.
