it wasn't a foul but maybe the ref thought the Tar Heels needed a little help I disagree with the ref.
It feels like Carolina has been getting some calls, like this game has been called pretty even then I look at the box score and BC on 10 less FGA's and 7 more 3's attempted has shot 5 more FTs and are in the double bonus in 2nd half and Carolina not even in reg bonus. Not complaining, just stating a fact.
Heels win 81-63, face Louisville tomorrow. both reg season games went to OT so should be a great matchup. Hopefully Meeks is ready to go.
other coaches usually call timeout and pull the starters no reason to run it up when you're up 15+ with under 2 minutes left
BC called timeout with 1:35 left in a 16 point game. Why didn't Roy pull them then? 16 point margin not big enough? Other coaches would've pulled the starters there, told their guys to not foul and run the clock when they have the ball and get the game over with. 1:35 Boston College Timeout 1:28 60-76 Foul on Joel Berry II. 1:28 Olivier Hanlan missed Free Throw. 60-76 1:28 Boston College Deadball Team Rebound. 60-76 1:28 Olivier Hanlan made Free Throw. 61-76 1:26 61-78 Marcus Paige made Layup. 1:26 Foul on Garland Owens. 61-78 1:26 61-79 Marcus Paige made Free Throw.
that is why he is all over the place, they have a 30 for 30 thing called "I Hate Christian Laettner" debuting Sunday night. Laettner is the best college player I have ever seen.
