thanks for the video Poeman... Man he was so freakin awesome in '09. I mean just incredible that year. My favorite part of that video though was watching him school the young Dez Bryant. Just owned that kid that day and frustrated the hell out of him
Poeman, The only thing I'd do different is maybe add the rap verses in the video. I love those parts lol
I was thinking about the general public, some don't like rap but only the music bud...That's why I kept the instrumental. Maybe you can sing along to it lol
No I get it lol I don't like rap but I like the way it sounds with the highlights. Pumps you up a little haha
Everything about that is great, except for the music. When I saw the title, I thought for sure it was going to be Ozzy's "Mama I'm coming home"! ....not some Oprah inspired estrogen fest! That crap has no place in football!
haha that song or music is the default song of sports athletes returning home or to their former team. Melo started the trend few years ago
I guess this is the place for this. I was one of hte few here who was opposed to the trade of Revis to Tampa. Last off season I was upset the Jets did not even try to sign him, letting him go to NE. And while NE's win in the SB was more about Seattle losing the game, Revis being on NE put them in position to win it. So I am thrilled the Jets got him back. They should never have let him go. As a critic of Woody's, I give him credit for going back and trying to redeem himself.
eh....R&B and Rap has no place in football imo...I used to listen to that stuff at one point, so I'm not prejudiced against it or anything, I just think Rock, or better yet Metal, plays much better with the violent nature of the game of football. Something like this...
This one gets it right from a production standpoint at least - black and white over the bad memories in the beginning, and then to the return when the triumphant music starts.
Begs the question, there is no doubt Revis is a future hall of famer. Assuming he plays out the next 3 years with us that would mean he spent close to 10 years with our franchise. Does he enter the hall of fame a Jet? or does he enter the HOF a member of those scumbag Patriots? Given the fact he did win a ring with those bastards. (And given our QB situation unless we stumble on a miracle I don't see us winning a Super Bowl in the next 3 years)
Jets. He will likely retire here. He said he would love to and he's getting older and older every year. He has played the most years of his career in New York and if he retires as a Jet, he will forever be known as a Jet. I don't think there is any debate on this
Yes .... imo no metal band ever came close to Metallica in terms of pure musical talent. (they were classically trained you know, real musicians) And in honor of St. Patrick's Day coming up, this often overlooked, recent gem has been stuck in my head the past few days....enjoy!
I've heard this played often to sports videos too. Probably the best rock instrumental of all time. (I love the riffs at the 2:57 mark) And is there a better early Metallica anthem than this one? It's either this or the grammy winning "One" from the "....Justice" album that's my all-time favorite Metallica song. I still get goosebumps every time I hear it! Check out the killer guitar solo starting at the 3:49 mark, and the epic climax at the 6:00 mark....speed metal at its finest! This blows away anything from Iron Maiden, Megadeth, or Pantera imo.
