Win now or not, our defense is light years better with Revis, he was outstanding with the Pats last year. I sound like a broken record, but offensively we will likely stink but with our defense we won't be easy to handle next year.
They didn't tamper with his contract, they tampered with the rule that you simply aren't to discuss a player under contract with another team. HUUUUUGE difference between the two.

i dont think milliner is really any good, and even if you think he is he cant be counted on to stay in the lineup. i think bringing in cro is a smart move.
I don't have a lot of respect for the Tampering Rule. It's really not there to protect the teams, but to keep players under control and prevent them from making the best deal available for themselves. And the "tampering" in question was nothing more than the Jets' owner answering a question from a reporter. Feh.
Hahaha, yeah that looks stupid. I guess what I meant is Revis is a ridiculously good player and any team is lucky to have the guy. So in that regard I'm sad. But at the same time, I think the timing of his contract didn't really work considering all the players we're losing anyway. It looks like somewhat of a rebuilding year for the Patriots with regards to talent. But him going back to the Jets, does that hurt? No doubt about it. Jets look the strongest I've seen them in years, and Buffalo and Miami are getting better at the same time. Next year will have some battles on the field all across the AFC East.
I agree. They mistakenly left those Revis items in the heavily discounted rack (along with the Holmes and Sanchez products.) It looks like they only thought to update the price for the jerseys, but forgot about the shirts and bobble-heads.

I don't expect us (pats) to get anything better than a 3rd round pick for the tampering charge. Probably lower. Possibly nothing. No matter the scenario, I can't imagine one where it would make the Jets wish they didn't sign him.
