IMO, we should start him now! Barlow is a scrub.

Agreed that we should start Leon. He proved it (so far) this game, last week and even the week before that (when he got a few snaps). He isn't big, but he has got the great speed and power to be a starting RB.

Have Houston, when he comes back, be the backup to Leon, and have Barlow be the 3rd String RB, and have Barlow be the GOAL LINE RB.

Wash and Houston. No Barlow and his $$$$$$$$ salary, period.

Yeah. Washington in for the majority of snaps. And put in Barlow for goalline. Washington's gotta improve his pass-blocking though.

blaylock is a great lead blocker for miller on kickoff returns. Washington should start and barlow in at goal line situations. As far as Houston, he should be the one who comes in for leon when he needs rest, not Barlow unless its goal line.

I think that once the coaching staff is more comfortable with Leon's pass blocking, it would then be his job to lose. There is obviously no other reason why he is not in there full time other than his ability to pick up the blitz consistently. Leon is a difference maker.

As I had said before, I don't know why the coaching staff was so hell bent on getting a running back when they already had one on their team! Barlow blows.

I think the team just doesn't want to look bad trading for a guy and then cutting him. If he was drafted by Herm in the 2004's 7th round, he would have been gone already. We'll probably haveto live with this clown for the balance of the season

Nah, they'd rather keep the guy and have us and the rest of the league watch him average 2 yards a pop! I've dealt with some ridiculous egos in the past, and I'm sure that the upper office isn't THAT bad!!........ Are they?

Leon really impressed me today on his blitz pickup. Everytime i looked at him on a blitz he picked it up. Either he's getting better or I'm looking at him at all the right times. He needs to start

I sure hope not. But why is he still being forced fed the ball?

I think Leon has improved his blocking by leaps and bounds. There's no reason why he can't get at least 20 touches every week.

washington reminds a lot of another NY running back, tiki barber. hes undersized just like tiki yet is decptively strong and extremely quick and seems to never give up on plays. i think hell continue to work hard and be our every down back by next season if not the end of this season.

I wanted Barlow to succeed, but he can't in this offense. There's no blocking for him. Leon looks like the best of the bunch right now because he can move around. He could be great with a decent blocking corps, but I think Barlow could as well.

Barlow looked decent today, but Washington is really looking good, tough runner for a small guy
