Exactly! I'm pretty sure he won't sign under $8.5 million annually after Orlando Franklin was quickly of the market (for about $7.3 million a year). BTW: In my books he was only the third best Free Agent OG (obviously behind Franklin and Wisniewski); and considering how much more money Iupati will get, I would much rather see even Clint Boling with us.

Wisniewski was heavily linked to the Cards for a while from what I read 2-3 days back, wonder if this steers the Jets on the path for him.

Free agency hasn't started yet but it feels like all the premium players are going elsewhere.

I just hope that we can sign a lot of middle tier guys to give us depth in areas of need.

A couple of things...people need to relax for crying out loud. A lot of these guys signed with their original team which is normally how these things go. The guys that are moving are pulling in "stupid" money.

Two things with the Iupati deal...Arizona is probably giving him more than he deserves but, also, if I'm a former 49'er right now I'm taking opportunities to "stick" it to my former team...what a mess they are. Dare I say the 49'ers are worse than the Jets right now.

Also, it's Monday...there are so many smoke screens going right now who knows what is real. For example, now Frank Gore looks to land in Indy after all day long going to Philly. So we shall see....

I got a theory on that one... Indy was saving bank to sign Murray when he shook loose tomorrow, but the Cowboys just restructured Tyron Smith's contract and now it's almost definite that Murray stays in Dallas so Indy shifted their offer to Gore.

Just goes to show you that all of these "deal is done" reports aint worth the dopes that are reporting them

Every free agent gets over paid if their any good. I don't understand why people on here always scream who got overpaid but complain later about who we didn't get. We HAVE to spend money this year so expect us to do some overpaying too.. Who even got crazy over paid anyway? besides suh? but like revis, he's a lock to be overpaid anyway.

Get ready for a TON of updates when free agency starts.

None of these talks are on paper yet. Look at Frank Gore and what he just did lol

    This is gonna be fun!

4PM tomorrow is when contracts get signed but clearly handshake deals have been completed.

Teams signing their own free agents don't even have to wait that long.

He has played guard for the Raiders before becoming their starting center.

The Raiders took the top center available and have moved on.
