I don't want Revis anywhere near this team. Fuck him. I'm surprised everyone else doesn't feel the same. He won a soup with the Pats and you'd take him back? Come on.
According to Jayson Braddock of KBME SportsTalk 790 in Houston, the Eagles have agreed to a five-year deal worth $53 million with free agent cornerback Byron Maxwell. An attempt to reach Maxwell's representatives by NJ Advance Media was not successful. Maxwell, 26-years old, will reportedly get $25 million guaranteed. The news of the signing has also been confirmed by Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com.
let's take the entire cap money we have and give it to Revis as guaranteed money, then all these stalker ex girlfriends can be emotionally secure
Tom E. Curran@tomecurran After 30 hours of tampering, it seems a very good bet Pats will retain either Revis or McCourty and a pretty good bet they keep both.
I see a lot of people wanting to address the cornerback position with the best one available. The only ones acting like ex GFs are the ones like you, making sarcastic personal comments like bitter, jilted ex GFs that slash tires and key car doors
i hope this is not true but i wouldn't be surprised, this is what happens when you have a winning program coming off a super bowl, you get these bargain deals
If you ask me if it's a good idea to sign Revis for 15 Million plus: a) I will say it's a good idea while Revis is still available b) I will say NE has overpaid Revis once he re-signs with them for 15 million, and say I'm glad we didn't get him. I am actually a fan who realizes my bias.
You know Roger Goodell won't do nothing about this, except get a stern smile back from Bobby Kraft. Goodell is going to behave like a pet
People want Iupati, why? Because he is the best OL available. People wanted Cobb, why? Because he was the best available. People want McCourty, why? Because he is the best available. People want Revis, WHY? Because he IS the BEST available!
I have an extreme disliking for the guy, but getting him back is more than just getting him back. It A, is our biggest need right now, B, fits under the cap, which we are REQUIRED to spend anyway, and best of all C, make the Pats a lot weaker in the secondary. Because of all the pros, I can put my hatred aside for a deal. I just cannot conceivably be convinced that he won't hold out 1 year from now. I mean it almost feels inevitable.
I hear that man, it sickens me watching him with all smiles after the super bowl, but if you were in his position you'd do the same thing ... he deserved every bit of being a super bowl champion. i want to see the fall of new england though, and this would be a huge hit for them. We can get into a bidding war and if we over pay for him thats ok because we could afford to but if new england does it, thats great too because they'll be paying more than they want to and will screw with their cap space for years
Cobb was more of a really really good slot receiver. Small and has great hands. Brandon Marshall is an absolute stud and a monster. He's strong as all hell, tall, big, and is a definite number one. We signed the best receiver available, period.
