I know we've had our differences with him in the past and some thought he wasn't worth the trouble, but we really could use him in the secondary next season. The jets should do everything in their power to get him back in green and white. I guess what I'm really trying to say is: come home Kyle Wilson.
The Jets can't just sit around and wait like Idzik did, I'm sure we are probably everybody's near last choice so he better be aggressive if he plans on actually signing people rather than trade for them.

Why are people fixed on this notion of overpaying? Who cares? The cap continues to go up and multiple teams are bidding on players. People would be happy if the Jets got Maxwell for $9M, but not happy if they got him for $10M? I just want good players on this team. The Jets didnt even spend the full cap last year! Who cares if they overpay players. I'd rather they "overpay" and field a team that goes to the playoffs, as opposed to deeming everyone "not good value" and finishing 4-12 with $30M in cap space.
Why are so worried about Bilal Powell? Jets need to learn to let go He's a player, not a good one or a bad one, just an average player. Those are everywhere and probably cheaper. Let him go
Much rather have Cro + Mccourty a the combined salary that Maxwell will be making. What an overpayment for him.. Heck, give me Revis back at around 15 mil as opposed to 10 mil plus for Maxwell..
