15 years of being brainwashed by Brady. Typical Pats fan.

He's a great QB. He's not the GOAT.

LOL, Montana had Dwight Clark and Freddie Solomon as WR's for two of his SB's. Let's not act like he had the best weapons of all-time.

SF won SB's BEFORE Free Agency. Big deal that it was pre-Salary Cap

And stop acting like Brady's teams weren't loaded. They had perfect personnel for their offense. They had guys who were put in perfect position to make plays. And Brady had the benefit of having elite defenses, so it's not like he didn't have anything on the roster. If it weren't for that defense the Pats would have been blown out in SB XXXVI

STL in 2001 were on par with Miami in 1984. I didn't say Warner wasn't better than those guys. But collectively Montana had much tougher opposing QB's and it's not even debateable.

The AFC has not been pretty darn good. In fact based on your analysis over the years the AFC is weak because it is littered with under achieving QB's who only perform well in regular season and flop in post season.

Marino rarely had talent around him.. .You've said that so many times, but each time I chuckle. Marino was a big game flop (and so was his all-time great coach btw). Elway was a much better QB who had less talent to work with than Marino did.

So was Boomer Esiason dude. Anderson, Esiason, Elway and Marino are far superior than the QB's that Brady faced.

SL 2001 was better than Miami '84 and SF '84 was better than NE '01.

opposing QBs means little, those QBs didn't have the weapons. they were elevating average talent in a weak conference.

Elway had better D's than Marino did, Marino had a little more to work w/ on O in the 80s but never had elite talent like Elway had in the 90s or Peyton has had his entire career.

Seattle's 2014 defense was NOT one of the greatest of all time. Just stop.

Murrell--you're arguing with a kid who was born the year Montana entered the league. He was 9 when Montana won his last Super Bowl. He probably thinks Montana had Rice his whole career.

on what planet? Warner is head and shoulders better than Boomer and Anderson, Wilson is probably better too. putting that aside Brady faced much better TEAMS.

absolutely was, the Seattle D's of the last 2 years have been the best since TB '02 and Bal '00, before that Chi '85. they go from humiliating Manning to blowing a 10 pt 4th qtr lead vs. Brady.

Lol, Those were some great QBs he faced.

Two top 5 guys all time, one guy who should be in the HOF and Boomer was a GREAT QB in his prime.

Seattles 2013 Defense was dominant, not their 2014.

the 2013 defense was not the same as the 2014 defense.

SL had probably a better team than 1999 when they won a SB.

    Not by a long shot.

Time to change the thread title when folks start putting Kurt Warner in the mythical top 5 of all time.

Great QB, borderline HOF but top FIVE?

I guess when you started watching football in 2000, that's what you get.

It's really splitting hairs, but Warner dealt with a thumb injury all season long and threw 22 INTs vs 13 in 1999. Their 1999 ST's had 3 returns for TD's and none in 2001. Defensively the 01 team gave up 4 more TD's, gave up points on 25.5% of their opponents drives versus 21.7% in 99 resulting in an average of 1.36 PPD vs 1.12 PPD in 99. Again, splitting hairs but statistically, they were not a better team in 01.
