Just for evidentiary purposes. Every once in a blue moon I might get angry with the Jets during a game but that never alters my overview of the team. I've been in the "show me" camp for quite a few years now. I'm willing to give this new Leadership Team the benefit of the doubt. I don't expect miracles but I do expect progress. If this team starts to look like the 2015 NY Knicks, I might get a bit upset but even that wouldn't change my outlook.

Champ, that's not the same thing. I said I would be ok with a 3 year plan. I did not create or even suggest a 3 year plan. One more time, I'm looking for results. Nothing more, nothing less. As long as I see progress, I'm good and I'm also willing to wait to see that progress. This new Leadership still has to produce Champ. If they don't do it immediately, I'm ok with that. If I were GM of the Jets, I would trade down to the mid first in order to get more picks, which your franchise desperately needs and I would address the secondary and O line which are the biggest holes on your team I think. Then, assuming you guys can't get Mariota, I would go get a guy who has a little bit of upside but some risk at QB like a Bradford or a Mallett. Sure they have some serious flaws but barring a miracle you guys aren't making the playoffs why not get a QB with a small chance to be a franchise QB instead of a guy with no chance like Geno or a retread? I don't get why you guys want receivers so much. You already have a good receiving core with Harvin and Decker and in my opinion CB and OL are more important than receiver. Hopefully your GM decides he wants to please the fan base with a sexy pick and picks a WR and you guys continue to suck though
