If someone wanted to pull something stupid like Buffalo and trade 2 first for Cooper or White I'd be all over trading down for Parker. That's another great thing about being at #6, options.

Trade down how far? It's almost a lock Minn will take Parker. He has also said he is keen on a Bridgewater reunion.

I think I'm the only one who thinks it but my top 5 are

    1. Parker
    2. White
    3. Cooper
    4. DGB
    5. Strong

I think the separation between the top four is extremely slim. It's easy for me to see why anyone would have those 4 in any order.

Well it all depends what happens in free agency first. Lot of valuable WR's out there right now. Once we get a better gauge on who needs and who wants one of these guys it can dictate how far we would be allowed to trade down. If the draft were to happen right now with these teams still desperate for a WR I don't think it'd be safe to trade down to #8 with the chance that another team trades up to #7. Definitely couldn't trade lower than 10 due to all these teams behind us.

    Vikings at 11
    Browns at 12
    Dolphins at 14
    Niners at 15
    Chiefs at 18

I look at White and I see everything we lack. Size, speed, strength, ability to contest for jump balls, and an edge. The kid is a beast, and I'd be happy with him at 6.

    My top 3.

    White
    Parker
    Cooper

DGB - may end up the best of the bunch, but could be a bust if his head isn't screwed on right.

Justin Hardy is my sleeper pick who is going to pleasantly surprise the fans of whoever where they will be able to draft him and what they get.

I prefer Kevin White. The comparison that I actually see most is comparing White to Dez Bryant. White fights for the ball in the air, like Brant and this is a skill that is becoming more and more rare.

    White.

He looks to me like a violent talent.

If this is the case then this entire thread is moot because they wont get the ball

If they stick with Geno and either don't draft Mariota or bring in a real vet QB to challenge, a LOT of Jets fans will be up in arms, billboards and websites will start appearing, and if Geno doesn't develop, they'll be out of their jobs in 2 years.

Well if they draft a QB or any other position it's also moot because they won't be here.

Interesting Cause decker would easily had a 1,000+ yards this year if not for his hamstring issues first half of the season

I'm thinking this is going to happen too. Patterson didn't mesh well with Bridgewater last year. They need to find him a go-to guy and Parker has been that for him in the past and unlike Stedman Bailey he is big enough for the NFL.

Pretty sure you mean Tavon Austin. Both Rams but Bailey was a third round pick that has shown promise in a horrible offense, Austin the 8th overall pick, hasn't showed anything. Schotty has a lot to do with the lack of success IMO.

Bailey was Geno's go-to guy. Austin was the moving piece in WVU's Air Raid. Half of Austin's touches happened within 3 yards of the line of scrimmage. Almost all of Bailey's were downfield throws where he frequently was the only receiver running a pattern as everybody else performed at the circus. Geno would throw to him when he was tightly covered as soon as he saw that the safeties were elsewhere.

I'm well aware of what my schools offense did but thank you. If you were talking about Bailey then it makes little sense to compare a top 12 pick (Parker to Vikings) to a third round pick.

It's crazy, if the Raiders and Jets both pass on WRs, Cooper and White could both drop to the Rams at #10, or even lower.

None of the other top 10 teams really need a WR. You could say Jacksonville does, but they just spent 2 high picks on WR last year, and rumor has it they're gonna make a run at Cobb.

The more I think about it, I think if the Jets pass on Mariota and keep the #6 pick, if Cooper is there they should just take him.

As much as I love White, I think Cooper is the closest thing to a sure thing as far as being a good player and not being a bust. If they took White, I'd be happy also.

This franchise cannot afford another Gholston whiff job at #6.

Much thought about who is number one. White blew away the combine but so did Vernon Gholston. You always have to be worried about combine risers. Cooper ran fast but didn't look fast during game time. The best evaluation is game film. Who set up his guy better? Who was the most physical? But most of all who caught the ball the best.

I agree and was hoping the Jets would get one of the receivers from the 2014 drfat but they whiffed. I viewed Cooper as the same as Decker. Not much separation. I would rather draft White. So here's hoping Oakland takes that option away from us at 4 and takes Cooper and White is there for us at 6. If White is gone I would trade out and then take Jaelen Strong.
