Snyder loves RG3, I would be shocked if they gave up on him this quickly - crazier things have happened. If the HC gets his way, they prob will look to draft a QB, but that would be an interesting fight between Snyder and the HC. I could see them making a trade with the Browns that's for sure.
Mariota going to the Browns is the worst possible situation for him he better hope they don't go after him
Imo it is too risky to wait until after the draft to address the Qb position. Doing so makes it more likely the Jets end up with Smith, which you say you don't want. But every suggestion you present here would if followed make it more likely than less that Smith is the opening day starter.
I don't disagree, but if they wanted to trade 2 firsts and a few mid rounders to us, I'd take it in a heartbeat
Id take that trade also im saying from mariotas points of view you don't wnna go to that place and have to deal with manziel unless they package manziel in a trade but who wants that bum also they have to wrs and Cameron is most likely gone also they very well might be the worst team in nfl next season
Glennon isn't far and away better than Moore, or Hill or Mallet or Geno so I don't invest a pick into him so we can get a player we could have had for less. this isn't a time to invest huge in QB with ANY trade for picks, nobody is worth it at this point and time. this is the time to treat what options we have as what they are; mediocre stop gaps. we have our fringe 3rd year starter with Smith, we don't need another. we should be after somebody that brings something more than marginally different to the table, namely through experience or upside. draft MM or famous sigin Moore or Hill but don't trade for a guy thats got about as much to give as OUR 2013 pick.
To use a soda analogy, the choice between Glennon and Mallett is like choosing between RC Cola and Shasta. There's no Coke or Pepsi between those two options.
