I don't even want the offense to waste runs with this douche on the mound because he'll give them back and more.
Unfortunately, as Trachsel is showing, both he and Perez are capable of being much worse than just trash, which would mean that even mediocre St. Louis starters look good in comparison. I still think that there is a decent shot that the series goes back to NY, but the last 4 innings have been about as bad for the Mets as they could be, and in a short series that kind of thing is deadly.
He's been doing it all year and won 15 games doing it, but I don't know if this offense can do it against the great Jeff Suppan
If you want to knock Green for poor positioning that's fair but his range and speed are what they are... you can't knock him for that.
