I guess they're going with Trufant and Herndon, I remember last offseason a ton of people (including myself) wanted Dyson before we got Law.
I'd kill for dyson...really guys, he's fairly cheap, he's young, he's better than our CB's:breakdance:
Frerotte will be gone. The Dolphins would have released Gus Frerotte if there wasn't a delay to free agency. From the sound of it, Frerotte is gone. It's just a matter of time. The move would save Miami $7 million in cap space, probably so they can go hard after Drew Brees. Miami would only have Cleo Lemon on the roster if Frerotte leaves.
Raiders | Team releases Collins Sun, 5 Mar 2006 17:23:26 -0800 Janie McCauley, of the Associated Press, reports the Oakland Raiders released QB Kerry Collins in a move to get them below the salary cap by Sunday night's deadline, March 5. By cutting Collins, the Raiders will save $9.2 million against the salary cap once bonuses are factored into the figures.
Guess this means Andrew Walter will get the chance to win the starting job, probably against Tuiasasopo.
Lavar Arrington WAIVED! Wow...was he one of the guys that was expected to get cut by the Skins? Big shock in my opinion.
Skins didnt cut him, they told Lavar the only way he can be a free agent is if he pays them 4 Million $$ .... He paid them Snyder so he let him go
where are you reading that he has been cut our paid back money? am not seeing anything about this anywhere so far.
I was pretty sure after last season Lavarr would not be back with the 'Skins. As for acquiring him, no thanks. Talented player but not the kind of guy this team needs especially during a rebuilding period.
He would be great as a 4-3 or 3-4 scheme but he will cost a pretty penny. Rather sign a veteran RT now that we have kendall as our center. If arrington signs with us for a decent dollar value i really wont mind his instincts on this team.
