Unlikely considering he claims the tuck rule didn't exist. Ray's statement is almost as delusional as the person who posted it.

You are like one of those battered women who never learns and keeps going back to her a-hole boyfriend after he beats the shit out of her time after time.

But it's illegal, I mean deceptive, I mean you have never seen this in the league before, I mean you have never seen exactly T/G/C/G/WR/T, I mean Ray Lewis hates on Brady.

    Bump, bump, bump, bump

    "Patriots cheating again"

    Free advertising ;)

Ps: no one has ever seen a wr split out, inside a tackle and then a pass back to the other tackle, it's the first time it's ever happened. Still, no one have shown anywhere that it has happened before. I got one picture from a lions game, a picture, not even a video; so can't confirm. And I got rumors that it was done in college, but not the NFL. Where was it done in college?

When you can't beat a team lining up you have to disguise players and introduce an entirely new offense to get your man open. Put the knight inside the bishop, it's your game; play it however you like ;)

Show me where you have ever seen a wr split out and still inside a tackle. It has never happened before.

I'm just not sure where you're going with this one. At this point it's been pretty clear across the board that the entire thing was legal.

Are you saying you're smarter about the game's rules than the people who make and enforce them?

Or are you saying the league just allowed the Patriots to do it because they're the Patriots?

The design of the play was to fool the opponent into thinking it was a 5 receiver set, spread the defense out, from hurry up, report ineligible player to the official and then snap the ball and pass to a wide open uncovered wr (tackle) before the defense could recognize the ineligible tackle (receiver). The formation worked exactly how it was designed to work.

    Wr_wr_Wr/t/g/c/g__wr_/t__wr

Show me where above has ever been used in the game of football.

Even easier show me a formation where the wr is split-out, inside a tackle.

Either it's been done before or this past Saturday started a brand new precedent.

I know you're trolling, but it really doesn't matter if its ever been done before.

That's how the league evolves, you're obviously a young fan, like myself, be happy to witness evolution, its fun, its new, we can say we saw it first hand when it becomes common practice 5 years from now.

Nearly everything about the common NFL today could be called "revolutionary back in the 30's, 40's, 50's, etc. Teams back then couldn't pretend to compete with the amount of formations used today, it's ridiculous, everything new in the league comes from using the wording of the rules to your advantage and having the rest of the league catch on. Then it becomes of game of "the smartest survives."

I'm actually finding this all to be pretty funny to see how seriously everyone is taking JetsVilma28, he's doing an awesome job of drawing in the attention, still.

I just hope if the game gets out of hand Landry will be allowed to blitz and pop Brady into next season.
