Thanks Petro, great website, this is the only forum that I belong to period...For those who may not know, I used to be Freemcneil, never left just changed my name. I still can't believe Hornet faked a cancer sickness and told everyone on this board he was dying and one of our members called him out on it. I was beside myself reading through that experience.
I'm not sure if its still available, I will look, but mods may have archived it. If you ever see the phrase " I call hornet" ( I call BS) that's the result of that thread.
that was the most insane period since i been on this board. and i would like to extend my thanks to petro as well. as someone else said, this is e-home.
That was several servers back so I'm not sure its still out there. That was a very strange period in the history of TGG. Only thing more bizarre was the border war with JI waaay back in the day.
Grandpa C Also when I first started to post on TGG, there was an issue between some folks and Petro. Petro took moderator powers for some users and bunch of folks got banned. I hope I am not touching a sensitive topic but what was that all about?
Familiar with the concept of a "Palace Revolt"? Some folks didn't like how Petro was running things and decided to start their own site. Every now and then, we still get a few trying to sneak back in but for the most part, they're gone.
Holy shit. A couple of posters jokingly called "hornet" on me a while back for something silly and I had no idea what they meant. I looked it up on google and urban slang with not even the hint of a hint as to what it meant. Good to know. _
Thanks for the kind words, you are welcome for coming here and gracing you w/ my presence on an almost daily basis. Just kidding, all of us help make this place special and we are all some kind of weird, mentally ill family so I appreciate everyone. Sometimes we all take this stuff way too seriously and we bash each other but I hope no one takes anything personally. Have fun, life is short and hopefully some day we can watch our team make and win a SB together.
I was being recruited a few times to go to that site...I think it still exists, but I am a loyal man and we all reshaped this forum for the better after that dodgy period.
