    Great news!

I hope they find a job for Elliot Wolf.

Bingo! If you're going to blow it up, then blow it ALL up. For years this organization always left pieces of their past FOs in place, and tried to cram a square peg in a round hole. It's time to REALLY wipe the slate clean, and give this organization a new direction. I'm hopeful that Casserly and Wolf addressed this exact thing with Woody.

For once, this seems like a different approach. It might not be the best approach (we'll see), but it's definitely unfamiliar waters for this organization.

You can't deny that. And you can't say he would have sucked here because it's the Jets and inferior coaching. He's the kind of guy who figures it out himself and brings a team up not down. Score one for Bradway on that one. Not sure he's the problem in terms of deadwood in the front office. But time for a change.

these things need perspective. gene smith had a terrible time as the jags g.m. but he was good enough as a scout to warrant being promoted to that position. if mac is briging him in as a scout or head of scouting there is really nothing larming about that. its like a h.c. going back to coordinator after getting fired

    Yep, that's the guy!

I was just sharing, I'm not buying into it since La Conforma has been spouting shit for the last 2 weeks.

I'll pass on a guy who drafts a punter in the 3rd round. Sorry. Perspective or not, that's just a crappy move. (PS- Anger is a good punter. However, when Jax is loaded with holes, getting a punter with a 3rd round pick isn't wise in my opinion.)

Getting rid of Bradway is good. Getting Gene Smith is not

and he could replace Bradway easily, if someone is available that he wants.

So what about Rod Graves. He was an Idzik hire but kept on board after his firing. Plus he's been running the front office the past two weeks.

I was thinking the same thing. He was the Cardinals personnel director for like 8-9 years prior to becoming GM in AZ.

So....you'd rather have a string of 2nd round busts that never pan out over the best place kicker in the nation with the potential to blast 50+ yard FGs with ease for the next 15 years?

On your next day off look up 'Leading scorer in NFL history'.

Good thing they got good ol' Doug Jolley! Traded out of pick 26, missed Heath Miller and Roddy White to get Jolley, and he lasted all of 1 season on the team. Then, Bradway picks a kicker that also doesn't pan out. Hind site is 20/20, but that trade/pick didn't even look good in 2005.

Well, Nugent has been pretty good with the Bengals.

The best? What about the first 10 years? Y'know, when the Jets won the Super Bowl?
