Chan as OC is a good move for you guys. He knows how to build an offense around the players he has. Hell he turned David Nelson, Donald Jones, Scott Chandler from raw players into decent pros. Stevie and Fitz loved him........there best years were when he was calling plays. The only downside to Chan is Rex exposed his offense and put the blue print out on how to stop it........you guys know that already.

I don't know that Rex exposed any blueprint, that roster was laughable for the most part. Gailey may not have helped in the playcalling dept but Spiller almost single handedly brought the Bills back in that 2012 game.
You know, normally when one lies about what they previously wrote, they don't do it in the exact same thread (where everyone can see it). You said I named ten coaches in the 70s; I did not - I named 11 people, three of them in their 70s and specifically stated they were more qualified GM candidates. You claimed I backtracked and said they were not a list of "prospective coaches"; I did not - I corrected someone who was mistaken by explaining to him I was asked for a list of more qualified GM and HC candidates and that they were not a list of suggested OC candidates. At least you got the part about me "implying" the Jets could hire anyone with a big enough pile of cash correct ... except I wasn't implying it; I stated it flat out - the Jets could get almost anyone if they were willing to spend any amount of money. If the Jets offered Parcells (or Johnson) $10 million a year for three years to be GM and groom a new GM to take over in year four, he would have been running the coaching search the next day.

Just because he did not succeed in Buffalo does not mean that he was a bad head coach. He had the Cowboys in the playoffs both years he coached them and had the Birmingham fire in the playoffs both years as well. He also was a college head coach for nine years. Whether or not he was a good head coach is debatable. I think we can all agree that the guy knows a thing or two about running an offense.

Gailey's offensive personnel his two years running the offense in Pittsburgh, and their production (statistically speaking), was remarkably similar to Schottenheimer's 2009 and 2010 Jets' offenses. Great offensive lines, quality running backs, awful QBs ... ran the ball into the ground, QBs constantly threw the ball to the other team.
