Funny how, now that he's escaped the NY media and this swirling vortex of rumors, biased opinions, and general misinformation that is the isolated world of Jets fans, he's no longer a "clown" or a "joke" or a terrible head coach, but instead the truth comes out, that Rex Ryan is one of the top HC candidates out there. All reports are that Rex Ryan is a very good head coach, now that he's escaped NY...

I think 7 years without a losing season and a SB, you get a little more leeway. :)

That's ny for you.. Like the curse of the Knicks, all they did was bitch about Ewing... 15 years later the Knicks worst organization In the nba and all the New York media wants now is a guy to do half what he did. Lol it's insanity dealing with the media here.

So if Rex gets the Atlanta job. Maybe tomorrow. How's about a tampering charge against the Falcons then. I read an article somewhere that had Rex telling his assistants on his way out, "next stop Atlanta." He had just met with Woody so how did he know. Unless he had been in contact with them while still under contract to the Jets.

Somehow I missed this thread, but man, Jets fans are embarrassing sometimes. Well, most of the time.

I heard on NFL network that Rex really wanted to be in ATL before he ended up coaching the Jets. Falcs turned him down.

its part of the reason Falcs fans really want him - when he came to the Jets he talked about how he was "pissed off" that Atlanta didn't give him the HC gig - so they know he wants to go there.

I'll root for rex if he is in the playoffs & we're not. Until then like everyone else...he's the enemy. Love my boy Rex!

The way I see it 1st he will be in the NFC. 2nd he only the enemy when he plays the Jets. That will be the only time I won't be rooting for him.

You do realize that he is not, at least for now, coaching anywhere.
