I checked out this guys stats.....is he even good? No picks, no sacks, a few tackles here and there, and a few punt returns.

With any luck the Jets win this weekend so you can go away again until the next time we lose.

Mangini and Belichick are using him to pass notes back and forth.

    He is not good there.

He had a good year returning punts in 2000, but that's it.
36 for 467 yards and 1 TD on punt returns in 2000.

    Hasn't returned a kick since 2002.

    Career:
45 kickoff returns for 818 yards, 18.2 average, 0 TDs (career long- 31 yards)

76 punt returns for 788 yards, 10.4 average, 1 TD (career long- 54 yards)

Loyalty is a two way street. The Pats horrible bosses to anyone not named Tom Brady. The NFLPA has a horrible contract and with the increased physical nature compared to even basketball and hockey leads to short career spans and high team turnover rate.

Maybe my standards are abit low, but isn't 10.4 yards a pretty respectable average on punt returns? Regardless of that, I doubt that's what he's being brought in for...the team already has plenty of capable returners, and Poteat hasn't been in that business for the past few seasons.

This has strategic move all over it. The guy just played against Miami last week. You think it has something to do with that? Of course it does. The guy is clearly no bette than any CB we have right now. The only thing he has is a fresh memory of the victory over the team we're playing this week.

Didn't that Pats pull this sort of move earlier this season. I can't remember the player's name, but it turned out that the player was cut right before the game. He was also seen at the game talking to the opposing team... right?

I don't like how things are going in regards to personel move, if anything needed to be addressed was the leadfooted she-men on the d-line and LB's. We need to get rid of Kassell, Chatam and the other moron they signed who commited the stupid penalty on that punt.
