I don't understand why we are goofing around and not giving Duke Tobin a blank check and calling it a day. It is pure nonsense that he hasn't even been considered to interview yet. As far as I'm concerned he is the answer. The bengals are the most talented team in the league with a lot of depth and he is a big part of it. Why he hasn't been considered to be interviewed yet is beyond idiotic. It really isn't difficult. I have a feeling Woody is gonna be naive enough to have casserly and wolf push their friends to work here. Go get Duke Tobin and have him assemble a new scouting department and have him get the coach.

Is he related to that other Tobin? (forgot his name, but I know there was another famous Tobin in the NFL)

Wouldn't give him a blank check but the Bengals have improved greatly over the past few years.

They are one Qb away from a perennial Super Bowl contender. Dalton is fine; he's average. But he's holding them back.

Thanks, Bill Tobin of the Colts, of course, now I remember....seem to remember that Bill was a good player personnel guy for them, so maybe Duke has the pedigree....sounds good to me!

Yea let's just give a guy who has drawn zero intrest from anyone and give him a blank check?WTF? I'm sure if the feeling was mutal that he was the sole reason the Bengals have so much talent he would be getting an interview. But yea let's give this guy a blank check

Besides his father have you seen what he has done lately? He has assembled the most talented team in football for the past few years and the team continues to draft well. That is all I need to know.

Yea because every franchise in the NFL is perfectly managed and interviews all the best candidates, they never make mistakes and let someone fall through the cracks. If Tobin has not been interviewed yet then he obviously sucks. (nevermind that teams that need to hire a GM are in that position because they didn't interview or hire the best guy the last time around)

Obviously everyone In the league knows he's there ,why hasn't he gotten an interview over the years or even been talked about,Its a red flag ...maybe he has a weak background in the cap area of things.I don't know what the reason is but if he was a shoe in for an interview at the very least then he should have gotten one by now

On the other hand, Woody interviewed Bill Kuharich. Did anyone else? Sounds like it is a Casserly call on Tobin, unless Tobin has already said he is not interested.

Sounds good on paper, but let's be honest, none of us know enough about any of these guys to go crazy one way or another.

Totally agree. They've done a great job of bringing in talent.
