I don't think the person who wrote that rule understands what "all" means. If the Jets had to interview one of each minority prior to hiring a HC or GM we'd be lucky to get the hires done before the draft.

Albert Breer @AlbertBreer Jets haven't gotten final word back yet from Eric DeCosta or George Paton. Both are considering whether to decline or accept an interview.
Eliot Wolf? I kind've thought it was Ron's ulterior motive to take the consultant position all along. At only 32 he's definitely young for the job but 11 years in GB's Pro Personnel department and a Great GM father like Ron might get you the job quicker than it would others.
If Paton declined, there is no way in hell DeCosta accepts. Although it is interesting that there still hasn't been word yet. Means he's still thinking it over
c'mon DeCosta, take the interview. and Woody, open up that wallet for him! any word on Chris Ballard? I've heard the Bears are interested, but haven't heard his name in regards to the Jets.
DeCosta has no reason to move on from the Ravens. He's already consulted by Ozzie Newsome at the same level a GM would be. Remember this is the franchise that had Art Modell in-house consulting for them for a decade after he sold the team to the new ownership. They have a respect for senior advisers and the value of multiple inputs. DeCosta knows that he's going to get the job when Ozzie retires. Ozzie and DeCosta both know that Ozzie will get listened to with respect and be valued for his input when he retires to an office in the owner's suite. Leaving the organization now would be like Michael Corleone deciding to strike out on his own before Vito decided to give him the reins.
