Andy Reid's team went 4-12, and he was able to land a head coaching job five days after the end of the season. Rex's teams haven't performed nearly as well as Reid's, but he still has four playoff wins and two AFC Championship apperances on his resume. Not many coordinators/former head coaches have done that ; He may not get a head coaching job this season, but he most definitely will be in contention for many openings , and he will become a HC again in the near future.
that's true, I forgot about Randy Reid....still, I would bet my house RR is not employed as a HC in the NFL next year
this geno007 guy just doesn't understand that if we keep rex we either have to keep idzik as well, or rex will be on his 3rd gm and we'll get someone even more unqualified than john idzik. A full house cleaning is in order.
I can't wait for everyone to start shitting on our new Offensive Minded head coachs inability to coach defense just wait until we have the 32 ranked defense next season
If Idzik gets fired at the same time it will muddy the waters enough for other teams, particularly a veteran team like the Bears, to decide Rex needs a mulligan. The chaos on the Jets this past season will look less like Rex's fault and more like an organizational problem.
Have the Bears experienced "chaos" this season? I do not follow them. I would wager if this season has been ugly and not just disappointing, they will not bring in someone who thrives on chaos.
With no legitimate # 1 WR on the roster, I totally disagree. Beckham could have easily been a Jet if some of the wasted picks were packaged.
