Haha these comments are hilarious. The song is clearly good if produced well. An actual critique would be helpful instead of jokes that are literally on a 3rd grade level. Then again, this generation knows close to nil about music that isn’t made by machines.
I recorded and helped produce a few albums in my younger days. Good songs rarely need to be "produced" to grab people. My take: No rhythmic hook. No harmonic motion. No discernible melody. No effort into arrangement. Seems like it was slapped together in ten minutes and called a "song." Most of the foundation-work is done prior to recording/production. If you are relying on production, you probably don't have a good song. Good production can make good songs great. It can't make bad songs good. ...but I just responded to a troll thread, didn't I?
Haha these comments are hilarious. The song is clearly good if produced well. An actual critique would be helpful instead of jokes that are literally on a 3rd grade level. Then again, this generation knows close to nil about music that isn’t made by machines. I sincerely appreciate an actual.serious response. The song wasn't put together in 10 mins. I pressed record and on the spot created it. What you are hearing is one take improv. You are right about the araingment. However, there is blatantly discernible melody. Saying there isn't is being dishonest in my view. If I put days into this I could make it better. But I wont. I find such methods phony. Once it's edited it is pre conceived and fake. I stand by this song fully...
Feeling good on a Wednesday. The image of me that you see is distorted, twisted, broken, fractured, isolated - miles out to sea. I don't want a separate place. I need to feel safe, not thrown away, away, away, away. And I will push, push, to tear down the walls. (Push Push) Of this box you put me in. (Push Push) Because you don't understand. (Push, ow, hot, push, ow ow, hot) You push, to find a label that fits me. I'm feeling good on a Wednesday, with the sparkling thoughts. Help me unload the car, yayaya. And so I push, to close the door. Of this sky you've made for me, to keep me away. And now we push, push, to stand together. Because I am Lorde (YAYAYA). YAYAYA, I am Lorde. I am Lorde, YAYAYA. YAYAYA. I am Lorde. YAYAYA, YAYAYA. I am Lorde. ya ya ya.
Nah that blows, mine below is far better: Don’t you go straying little to far I can see you Tip toing around the boiling tar You Excel so gravely but manage to stay on par But Misery is on tap at the soulless bar The raven is quoting to the lonesome fool Keep in your cage at the human zoo Preachers claims they speak for the sky Senators are prepping for the next big lie The press is delicately ready to oblige Bankers underwrite the vows of a bride Nobody’s on the fence but only on one side Entruepurers ideas were already tried Vagabonds are dressing their chains as guides Americans elect those who cant decide Veterans of misery are pulling others through To join them at the festival in the human zoo Meanwhile from new York to the western plains Theirs a smell of toxicity running through the drains It enters in your toes till it seeps through your veins Carried across land in an iron ghost train It has no detsitiantion and it has no brains But the roads it will travel are ones we call main And the fork in the road makes the crazy stay sane Imperial instigators stir the witches brew It’s the only food left in the human zoo Down in the sewers the lava does flow It swirls and pounds though the wind don’t blow Next to an imp with a lawn he just mowed A child wonders why it takes so long to grow A nun at the morgue is tying ribbons in bows A scientist is learning how much he doesn’t know As the street drifter is exhibited just for show As an audience assembles just down below The scalpers of good seats are on patrol Their scrounging for money to pay for their tolls In the end money is just a pawns tool It’s the only currency left in the human zoo
Haha, yeah ok…yet I have won open mike competetions…..this is a simple matter of pre-conceived bias. I have written over 10,000 songs and will continue to do buddy cakes.
Yes well over 10,000….and why would you call a shit a song? I actually have over 10,000 songs, prob closer to 15,000…and they are all over youtube. Some are horribly awful, some average some good. Period.
Put a good singer, with a band, a completely different song and you have something completely unrelated to the torturous, cum gargling sounds emanating from your video. Terrible shit.
