How do you start a Beckham hate thread and fail to bring up his awful, attention seeking Simon Phoenix hair?
I can't hate on OB-one hand catch Jr. But he has a QB that can get him the ball, if he were a Jet, he probably would not have the same type of numbers that he is putting up and JI would be getting killed for drafting him.
His numbers are inflated because the rest of the Giants offense sucks. Why should Eli throw it to Randle or Donnell or anyone else considering all they do is fuck up when they get the ball? As soon as Cruz comes back or the Giants are able to get an actual WR on the other side of him the numbers are bound to go down a little bit. Right now he's all they have though. Im at a loss when people say the Giants have a lot of young talent.
ODB's success reminds me how difficult it is to please fans on draft day. I've got a side venture in a restaurant/sports bar, and i was working on draft night. There was a big table of about 10 Giants fans who flipped out when they selected ODB. I mean really pissed off. One guy shut down into almost a comatose state for an hour afterward. lol, it was pretty funny then, and even funnier now that they were that pissed on selecting what will be the OROY. It was exact same thing on this forum when the Jets selected the DROY in Richardson. moral of story....no matter who gets selected, fans will be pissed
All that really needs to be said is that he's nut, but I agree that the media ball washing is annoying because they keep writing new articles to word how nuts he is in different ways. Everybody already knows.
Nope because we could have gotten a WR in the first round and helped our anemic offense, but like always we fucked that up and went defense again. Cook, Matthews, Benjamin all could have been had at our spot. I'm glad he is doing great.
The problem on offense this year isn't the WR's. It's the young QB who can't read a defense quickly, can't read the blitz and will not get outside the pocket under pressure, preferring to stay between the tackles and retreat if necessary instead. If you watch the mobile QB's who are successful right now you see them escaping to the outside all the time under pressure. For whatever reason Geno won't do that most of the time. That's where the 18 yard sacks come from.

Me too. I didn't see anything special about him. Shows how much I know from reading statistics, and watching youtube clips..
The athleticism flashed but I'm surprised at the tough catches he makes, some of them he is not open but just makes a damn good play so i hope he works on his routes a bit and he can end up a great player.
