Regardless of their record/situation, the team's performances in many or all areas left a lot to be desired. It wasn't even an impressive victory.
I knew the Jets would have a real tough time losing that game. They tried really hard and almost pulled it off, but in the end the Titans just sucked a little bit more.
I'd have been pissed if they lost after the brawl. Before that I was watching one of the worst NFL games I have ever seen. It reminded me of the 7-6 Arizona game where the Cardinals started a guy who was probably better at punting than passing and the Jets kept Sanchez in until late in the 3rd despite him giving the ball up over and over again and going 3-and-out when he wasn't doing that. Greg McElroy was the best QB that played that day.
yea.hope your happy when a dog poop fa qb that nobody wanted is our qb and were in the same spot again…oh wait we can trade for rg 3…from a team who hasn't had a qb in years to another team who hasn't had one and plays 3 games before getting hurt again
This... To top it off, they were in 5 yards of actually losing the game on a last second lateral play. Nothing was gained in this win. Let's hope whoever the next coach is decides to put Coples back at DE. I get so frustrated watching him at LB, the kid makes some really nice stops behind the LOS.
Looking at the stands today, it became clear that the Titans could use some more fans. I guarantee ticket prices are not as high. But best of all? The Titans have increased their odds of drafting the 2nd coming of Joe Montana tonight.
I hope everyone that's happy about barely beating a 2-12 team with Charlie Whitehurst at QB has an awesome night of celebration. Tomorrow when you guys wake up and realize we're still 3-11 and on the verge of firing our HC and possibly GM and once again forced to rebuild just remember that this win took us out of position to choose our own destiny whether that is Mariota/Winston/Cooper or whoever else. It's not about feeing good for a few hours it's about feeling good for years to come that's why we wanted a loss.
I'm not suggesting that Mariota or Winston will turn out to be elite QB's because I HIGHLY doubt they will. But if they do, the only thing I will be thinking about is this meaningless win and that jack off Lesley Woodyard.
Did anyone really think the jets would fall into the right draft slot. Come on we are always 1 or 2 slots behind where we need to be. The football gods just don't allow it...... I recall 1981 draft with the Giants at 2 and jets at 3..... The rest is history.
Somebody likely to go in the 2nd or 3rd round in the draft who might be a good NFL QB and if he wound up with somebody like Bill Walsh a great one. If the Jets draft Joe Montana back in the 70's nobody even knows who he was at this point.
