Pretty dumb the people saying when he is fired. Most not have enjoyed 2009/2010. Can appreciate those, still love Rex, and still want him out of a job.

2010 was the best. Still remember a few front running cocky Pats fans thinking there was no shot after 45-3 and then as Joe B said the next day on DNL "went up to new England and stuck it in their rear ends". Unfortunately those unappreciative assholes are good year after year and we now suck and probably will when the QB that they pick inevitably bust.

You guys are way too harsh on Rex.

The best Rex moment is not when he is cleaning his desk or getting fired. He is a not a total douche bad coach. Alot of these reflections you guys have are things I'd say about Herm Edwards, Eric Mangini, Brian Schottenheimer...But not Rex.

Rex's run is just over it's time for something else, we need a more responsible coach in all three facets of the game

The obvious answer is beating NE in the playoffs. The only thing that even comes close for me is when we finished knocking the snot out of the Bengals to clinch that 2009 playoff spot, and the whole team circled the stadium shaking hands with the fans. Very cool moment.

I want him fired because his time has passed. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate the good times.

First off, all four playoff wins were great. The last one over New England was the best.

    Other sweet memories:

The home victories over New England in 09 and 10.

The road wins over Pittsburgh and Miami in 10.

Wins over New Orleans and Miami in '13.

Hard Knocks. Seeing him with Rob and Buddy.

His first press conference. He brought a breath of fresh air to this franchise.

Playoff win in NE and Shonne Green going into a fetal curl in the endzone.

I feel like when Rex is fired, he will be to us what Schwartz was to Detroit.

No way. The Jets fanbase and collective NY Sports media like him too much for that.

I just happened to be near Indy that game. Watched the game at the bar on Camp Atterbury with a lot of Indy fans.

I can't remember having so much fun as a Jets fan as having Rex as a coach. It's going to suck to see him go and deal with shitty coaching for the next decade.

As long as he doesn't go on to do any coaching for the New England Patriots. Gotta love Rex and we'll miss him when he's gone...but I swear..

...if Rex goes on to be DC for the Patriots or something...you can bet I hate his guts lol.

    Every single press conference.
Rex is by far the best thing we've ever got in the past 20 years! He truly made me believe.

    Regarding the games.

    Week 2 - pats jets 2009
    2009 playoffs - Shonn Greene
2010 playoffs - victory over pats after 45-3 loss
