You need to NOT misinterpret what I'm saying. I'm saying this loss falls on a lot of guilty parties. We've learned a lot of things this season. D-Rob cannot play 3-4 NT. Vilma is not that great as a 3-4 LB. Our O-line sucks at run blocking. Cotchery is a good WR. Coles is a legit #1. We've also learned that Pennington is overrated as a decision maker. It ashames me to associate with a group that can't even read a simple post properly. Maybe ya'll should become Dolphins fans.
Give the guy a break - it's only his fifth game back from major surgery. Not only is his arm rusty, so is his mind. Jets faced some terrible "D" in first four games, so it wasn't as noticeable. Without a running game, a shaky offensive line and a defense that has its head up its ass, don't expect any miracles just yet.

gotta chime in here..... exactly when was a healthy CP the second coming of marino against a very good and aggressive defense. we witnessesd CP at his best in 2002 - against the pats, packers, colts - with the pats having the better defenses of the group. an aggressive but disciplined defense is NOT a good match for CP because of his lack of mobility and below average arm strength. now dont all of you chad lovers get crazy..... CP can still be a winning QB IF he is surrounded by the right talent AND system. we saw a glimpse of that in 2002 when the jets oline was good and he some decent WR weapons in a younger coles and moss. no running game = no passing game, period. and forthose people that say we should pass first and run second....forget it - the playmakers just are not there in the passing game for that to work either. jil

Hes developed more arm strength over the years, but when he took over, and he won his fist SB, he did not have a strong arm, at all. Again, your post is retarded.
I agree with you about Chad but I also expected us to lose against the 3 teams we lost to and beat a ton of the other teams on our schedule. Chad is not great but in this league he is good enough to beat most of the teams. Today on the road this was an awful match up. Our only hope was to get off fast and we didn't and it steam rolled on us. The fact is we have been manhandled by the Pats and the Jags and the Colts just have a little more fire power than we do and we couldn't win a shoot out with them. Most NFL teams are as flawed as we are and Chad will win most of those games with this team.
he was nothing but a hold-the-fort guy. they traded him to buffalo, a division rival, cause he was immobile. that's where he is similar to chadwick. he's not going to win any ring except as a backup while somebody else is the starter. again, you have no concept of the difference between a real franchise qb and a guy who can schmooze the press, like his former head coach.
what is it with all the assholes posting today? I'm as darksider as you can get, and even I'm not ready to kill the Jets or any one player. (maybe barlow....) I think a lot of these people were crowing about how awesome the Jets are and Mangini is after last weeks loss to the Colts, which IMO was a bigger loss than today was. If you can be happy after that loss, you should have a Coke and a smile right about now... We got our asses kicked today by a team that is better. Big whoop....We have a chance at going 10-6. 5-3 before the bye and 5-3 after the bye. We should win our next 3 games, and I think we will. Miami is garbage....I know that anything can happen when the phish and Jets are on the field, but by all accounts the phins suck. So we will be back to .500 by this time next week.
