Tonight the Jets played a prime time game against an AFC East opponent, probably the one with the biggest history of noteworthy games. Tonight is the deadest I've seen this board since probably last May. Continuing pathetic performance sure takes the life out of this party and that's totally understandable.

I wonder if there is a monthly count of posts that could show the numbers. I'd try to look it up, but I don't care that much about anything here any more. I don't think I'm alone.

The Phins had only came from behind in the 4th while on the road once in the last 48 road games when they were trailing in the 4th Qtr. Now that number is 2 of 49. Fans have lost interest just like the team has lost it's way. This year is the 2nd worst start in team history, only ahead of the Kotite 1-15 season. I was actually surprised the stadium was that full. Woody needs to blow it up from Idzik down to the scout team.

Through the organization's collective incompetence, they've destroyed whatever enthusiasm I have for the team. I won't
pay close attention until they start cleaning house, and after then, until the draft.

Can we talk about anything other than Mariota? I am a Ducks fan and even I am sick of talking about him.
There are other QBs you know.

Fine. If he beats the Wildcats this Friday then we can talk about him all day.

I'll leave that to everyone else. I think he's being overhyped on here.

I think mPst people here are in shock over just how disgraceful the jets have become. For those who go far enough back, were into the pre parcells era when we're always pretty disgraceful . Since parcells we have some bad years, heartbreaking years but always been competitive and respectable. We're no longer competitive and top to bottom the organization is off the rails.

    Moronic owner

We have a gm who knows nothing about personnel and has done as bad of a job as you can do.

Rex as much as I love him, he's checked out. He's regressed as a coach and is ready to move on.

Once again now, 3rd time in 6 years will be looking to draft a qb.

Not much positive outlook here. I don't think anyone knows what to think.

With 58 minutes played we had thrown 8 total passes. Lol it was one of the strangest jet games I have ever seen.

We took the Idzik plan. Made the same cuts tanny would have made. Missed badly on some signings, drafted horribly and took all of rex enthusiasm and passion out f him. The hiring of John Idzik is arguable one of the worst moves in franchise history.

The jets are in the worst shape they been in since the kotite days. Only a complete blow up and a miracle savior can turn this around.

That is why we use one of the QBs to trade down and hopefully net an extra first rounder next year. There are a ton of offensive linemen, running backs, and defensive players in this year's draft that we can use to improve our team now.

We add our QB in 2016.

Rooting for your team to lose, in hopes of a better draft pick and firing everyone associated with this disaster, has become fairly common...I really just root for the uniform...Ove the years, there have been so many characters that I cannot stand due to their arrogance, incompetence & cluelessness, that it makes rooting for the Jets difficult at times...Idzik, Herm, Kotite, Holmes, Kyle Wilson, Gholston, Bradway, Stephen Hill, Geno, Hackett, F' all of you...

Best game plan going forward. When's the last time the Jets have actually traded down though?

Do you really want to see Vick or Smith trotted out again? I sure don't. If they don't address the QB in round one, hopefully they'll nab the best QB free agent. They have the cap room. But who's out there? Hoyer? Locker? Mallet? Sanchez???

The title of this thread is the one word Woody Johnson should fear the most. Fan APATHY is perhaps a tougher thing to turn around than franchise credibility. Woody is losing the fanbase in droves. After last night's game, its almost impossible to make the case that the HC and the GM are on the same page. It also gives credence to the many articles stating that all is not well at One Jets Drive. Maybe those Jet Hating Beat Writers were on to something after all.

Before Parcells, you got a good look at what Fan Apathy really looks like. Empty sections and plummeting swag sales. No buzz whatsoever about "The Brand". After Parcells, the Jets were relevant again, seats were filled, swag started flying off the shelves, The Jets were back in business.. Now fast forward to 2012. Another decline and a huge error in judgement by the Owner puts this franchise in yet another tailspin. What can Woody do to reverse that? Public perception of the Jets is again, the green and white clown car that can't get out of the traffic circle.

What's the old saying: "When you're in a deep hole, stop digging..." Woody, put the shovel down man. Time to make meaningful changes in how YOU hire people in critical positions. Keep this up and you'll turn Met Life into CitiField before you can say John Idzik.

Hoyer or Mallet will do just fine until we find the chosen one in 2016.

It would great if some Jets fans showed up at the next game within signs that read, "give me _______ then list every decent QB since Namath. The placard won't be that big.

All season long I have cared more about my fantasy football team than this Jets team. When you don't have a QB or a dominant defense there is nothing to root for except a complete housecleaning. I'm sure most Jets fans felt the same way headed into this season. The Idzik years have been a complete waste of everyones time. I even drafted Tom freaking Brady as my fantasy QB and root for him to do well, something I never would have done if this Jets season wasn't a disaster before it even began. I also forgot that the Jets were even playing last night! A Monday night football game and I'm out to dinner, its 8pm and I say, oh wow I forgot the Jets are on tonight. What??? Even during the Kotite years I watched almost every minute of every game. Idzik has to go.

I tried to whip up some well-placed apathy - until I realized I didn't care enough...
