I made nothing yesterday except for witty conversation.

Today I did make a nice leftover turkey sangwich.

Just got home and was lucky enough to bring home half my apple pie (Algonquin Hotel style) and half my pistachio chocolate tart.

And a bottle of Rhum JM VSOP!

Mayo or cranberry sauce? I gotta go mayo with almost all stuffing and just a sliv of turkey.

Not really worthy of it's own thread so I am dropping it here. I read the headline below and they said there was video, so much potential. I open the article, click on the video and I get video of 250 lb women in parkas fighting. The news organization that wrote the article needs to be punished for blatantly getting hopes up and then posting that video.

Another great thing about Thanksgiving leftovers. Turkey and Pancetta Pot Pies.

    Delicious.

Next time, whip your cranberry and mayo together. Then fill your sangwich with turkeh, stuffing, mash potatoes, and dootz.

    I am embarrassed to say.

I own at least a dozen Wushtoff Classic Knives, some of them are over 25 years old. Literally every size and type.

But about 8-10 months ago I was in IKEA picking up a table for my son and I saw their chef's knives and I was struck by the ergonomics of the handle, the heft of them, the balance--they just felt great in my hand. Super sharp and the hold an edge for a very long time. I bought 3 of them and I have not used my Wushtoff's since.

I see. I was curious, it looks like Ken Onion but has too many rivets.

Crystal hot sauce is the only condiment appropriate for a leftover turkey sangwich. And just about anything else.
