so this game is gonna be played on Monday night in another city with a few dozen people in the stands and everyone else watching Ravens Saints on TV...awesome lmao
ProFootballTalk@ProFootballTalk 10m10 minutes ago Per league source, Pittsburgh and Washington are not options for the Jets-Bills game. Contrary to reports.
Pittsburgh is geographically the closest city mentioned (from Buff). Toronto makes the most sense plus Buff residents might be able to get there for MNF. Plus there's a lot of Canadian Bills fans so they might be able to get a decent number of people. And it's a domed stadium but apparently the politics of the owner, etc. makes logic illogical. lf in Pitt not many in the stands. Steelers fans travel well for their team but wouldn't walk across the street to see us . And what about NYC. No way I guess because the Bills wouldn't play a home game in their opponents stadium.
It either has to be moved or it won't be played at all. The Ralph might not even be ready for the Nov 30th game against the Browns.
Well, if it were the Giants instead of the Jets we all know where this game would be played. Ask the Saints.
Again not considering the Toronto option doesn't say much for respecting their Canadian fans. The Bills cancelled their game in Toronto for this season after playing regular season games there the last few seasons. Ok moving to Toronto is off the table but not playing there under these circumstances isn't smart. Same goes for their Nov. 30 home game.
Toronto seems the most logical alternative to me, of course if the availability is there. i don't know if it is or not.
the game is likely to be in Detroit, Toronto isn't even an option right now. I expect they will announce it is being moved to Mon Night in Detroit.
Rich Cimini@RichCimini 2m2 minutes ago NFL rep Mike Signora: "Due to public safety concerns in light of ongoing weather emergency in WNY, Jets-Bills will not be played in Buff." someone should tell him the game was never going to be played in Buffalo as the Bills don't play in Buffalo.
NY Post is saying Monday Night in Detroit. Absolute crap for the Bills. Lose a home game, lose the fans, cant practice and all that.
