Back to reality. A tweet on the Jets site says the halftime total net yardage was 202 - 75, which is easy to understand, but the NFL game stats show final at 362 Pittsburgh and 275 for the Jets. Now, I'm no mathematician, but that sure looks like in the second half the Jets gave up 287 yards and only put up 73. Good thing there's only sixty minutes in the game.
Interesting, because I can think of a certain recent AFC Championship game where Pittsburgh was DAMN lucky that there's only sixty minutes in the game.
Yeah we had a bunch of stalled drives in the 2nd half. But we also played very conservatively (as most teams do when they're in the lead). Plus, the Steelers yardage is inflated in the 2nd half due to garbage time (particularly the 80 yrd touchdown).
