I'm not rooting for Mark to fail. His Jets career is hopefully over. That's all I care about with Mark: the past. The present is in his hands. I really have no idea how he's going to do. But if I had to pick a number to represent my feelings about Mark it would be: 6. Like in pick 6.
We forget that Mark Sanchez is a talented QB. You don't start for USC and suck. He came out to early and got railroaded. Chip Kelly makes his offense simple. Jeff Masoli went to the Rose Bowl with it and he's dumber than a second coat of paint.
Railroaded. Getting over 60 starts in the NFL is being railroaded. I'd like to get railroaded like he was. Ask Braylon if he was railroaded. He was treated like a prince. No ones fault he fucked it up but his own.
still better then geno. sanchez is an average qb which light years ahead of geno "the living turnover" smith
Some of the breaking maddens are good. This was interesting b/c it was one of the few times the game wasn't "broken"
Do you really expect there to be no anger after Mark's 52 turnovers and his terrible play for the Jets. And his fans (who are even worse than him) fan the flames and bring back bad memories. Bias: yes and no. Wanting him to crash again this time for the Eagles: No. I'm all for second chances. Good luck Mark. It's on you. But don't come back.
I don't think anyone expects him to come back. I don't think anyone WANTS him to come back, but some fans did develop a connection because we did well with him, whether it was in spite of him or not. It's perfectly fine to cheer the kid on, especially since we have nothing to watch for ourselves. I will say one thing. I don't remember the pass O being this bad ever under Mark outside 2012. It has been some time though.
Look Mark deserves credit for all of his Ws with the Jets esp the 4 playoff wins. He was an important part of that. But it's 4 years ago, man.
I don't get what you're trying to say. I've already conceded that I don't want him back. I'm just interested in seeing how he does.
Washington sucks, Dallas is good but now they have to choose between a QB who has a broken back and can't win in a clutch situation or a crappy QB, and Giants are mediocre. Our divisional opponents are much tougher.
Yea, but knowing Sanchez, the present will either be intercepted or run up some OLman's butt. Either way, doesn't look pretty.
