if all holds and no trades are had, 85% chance we take a QB, with the other percent begin the chance that something happens between now and May that makes Mariota and/or Winston undesirable. I WILL NEVER, EVER hope for the jets to lose, but thats a nice consolation prize for all thats happened.
I would prefer to win to avoid the duck. A system based qb who never gets under center and plays in a gimmick based offense in a system that hasn't produced an NFL qb? No thanks. Let some team trade up to reach for him and teach him how to be an NFL QB while giving use a bunch of picks.
lol i was super close to putting (besides Vick & Geno). Really though if we went that route we have enough money to pick up two of the best linemen available in free agency, along with a CB but i'll save that for another thread. That would give whoever our QB is plenty of time to pass and plenty of playmakers to get things done how it should.

There is no salary cap on GMs and it won't even cost us a draft pick to get one. We can have a shiny new GM and still use our first pick to solve another problem.
Doesn't matter that the Jags & Raiders don't need a QB. What matters is which other teams that do are willing to move up to get the one we want. We'll probably go after Foles when he's free from Philly after Sanchez leads them to the NFC Championship game. Oh the irony .....
Foles isn't going to be any team's choice over a top prospect in the draft if Sanchez takes the Eagles further than he has.
Winston, Mariotta and Hundley are all worth drafting. If you can trade down and still get one of them that is certainly worth considering.
