that was pretty ballsy to blatantly rip off the McNamara quote like that. That's not something obscure thats like a really famous quote about the Vietnam War.
I think the supporting cast had a lot to do with it, Shia screwed it up in my opinion. Trinity is still hot, and David Morse has made average movies awesome. Put zac effron in that role Shia played and you might end up with a great movie.
And Leo could have made it Oscar worthy. Look Lebouf has made some crap but he did a fine job in Disturbia. Efron would have been too mature for that part. _
I should have prefaced my post by saying that I did like the movie, I just thought it could have been better. It reminded me of him being at home in the transformer movies, that's all.
