This is our roster heading into FA this year. What would you do with the free agents, who would you sign and who would you let walk? You can add UFA you'd like to sign from other teams if you want as well.
    QB: 7 Geno Smith,
    FB: 40 Tommy Bohanon
RB: 33 Chris Ivory, 21 Chris Johnson,
WR: 87 Eric Decker, 16 Percy Harvin, 11 Jeremy Kerley, 81 Shaq Evans, 10 TJ Graham, 18 Walter Powell, 15 Saalim Hakim, 14 Chris Owusu,
TE: 88 Jace Amaro, 85 Jeff Cumberland, 44 Zach Sudfeld,
    LT: 60 D'Brickashaw Ferguson
LG: 75 Oday Aboushi, 72 Wesley Johnson
    C: 74 Nick Mangold, 63 Dalton Freeman
RG: 67 Brian Winters, 70 Dakota Dozier
    RT: 68 Breno Giacomini,

    LE: 96 Muhammad Wilkerson,
    NT:
    RE: 91
    Sheldon Richardson, 99 TJ Barnes,
LOLB: 97 Calvin Pace, 57 Trevor Reilly
    LILB:
    RILB: 56
    Demario Davis, 55 AJ Edds
ROLB: 98 Quinton Coples, 58 Jason Babin, 95 Antwan Barnes, 51 IK Enemkpali
    S: 25 Calvin Pryor, 39 Antonio Allen,
CB: 27 Dee Milliner, 43 Dexter McDougle, 30 Darrin Walls,

    K: 2 Nick Folk
    P: 4 Ryan Quigley
    LS:

    UFA:
    1
    Michael Vick QB
    38
    John Conner FB
    29
    Bilal Powell RB
    71
    Ben Ijalana OT
    66
    Willie Colon OG
    78
    Leger Douzable DE
    93
    Kenrick Ellis NT
    55
    Jermaine Cunningham OLB
    52
    David Harris ILB
    54
    Nick Bellore ILB
    26
    Dawan Landry S
    20
    Kyle Wilson CB
    24
    Phillip Adams CB
    -
    Josh Thomas CB
    46
    Tanner Purdum LS

    RFA:
    94
    Damon Harrison NT
    17
    Greg Salas WR

    ERFA:
    37
    Jaiquawn Jarrett S

    PS:
    5
    Matt Simms QB
    35
    Daryl Richardson RB
    82
    Quincy Enunwa WR
    83
    Chris Pantale TE
    79
    Brent Qvale OT
    62
    Kerry Hyder DE
    92
    Tevita Finau DT
    45
    Rontez Miles S
    31
    Dashaun Phillips CB
    22
    Marcus Williams CB

-I would sign the full practice squad to reserve future contracts.
    -I would cut Chris Johnson.
-I would use ERFA tender on Jaiquawn Jarrett.
-I would use 1st round RFA tender on Damon Harrison.
-I would re-sign Leger Douzable to 1 or 2 year deal.
-I would re-sign David Harris to a 1 year deal.
-I would re-sign Nick Bellore to a 1 year deal.
-I would re-sign Phillip Adams to a 1 year deal.
-I would re-sign Tanner Purdum to a 2 year deal.
-I would re-sign Kenrick Ellis to a cheap 2 year deal.
-I would sign Byron Maxwell to a 5 year deal.
-I would sign either Matt Moore or Jake Locker to a 2 year deal.
-I would not RFA tender Greg Salas, but I would sign him back on a 2 year deal.

I would be comfortable going into the draft with the roster here plus the moves I listed. I internally debated about whether to add a second bigger name CB through FA, but recovery times for an Achilles injury suggest Milliner should be full-go for mini-camps and training camp. I would look to draft an OT/OL in the first round, although I'm open to other positions. If there is a big time DE/OLB I'd be happy with that pick as well. Assuming Aboushi plays well for the rest of the season, I probably wouldn't sign a FA guard. If we didn't draft a guard, I'd let Winters compete with Dozier at RG. I also think Drafting David Harris' replacement in the 2nd or 3rd round is a good idea, perhaps spending a 3rd or 4th on an RB. Who I'd sign at QB depends a lot on how Geno plays the rest of the season.

I want to let Colon go and sign a good RG. Then I want to draft our future LT unless a top OLB is the BPA.

I would also get a CB in free agency if there are any quality ones available, though we'll probably draft a CB once again in the first round...

I would like to sign TWO veteran Guards. One clear cut starter and one that can compete with Aboushi (if he shows he can play down the stretch).

Colon sucks and Winters isn't a starter.

IMO the greatest needs are beefing up OL and getting a serviceable CB.

Resign Douzable, Purdum, Powell, Adams, Ellis and Harrison.

Let Wilson, Harris, Vick, Colon, Conner and Landry walk.

    Sign Revis and Iupati.

    Maxwell is a must sign.

Idzik, or whoever the GM is, needs to not rely on ANY of our CB's for next season. If any of the injured ones can come back and produce then awesome. But we need atleast 2 new guys on the roster. Put AA back at safety and thats that.

Colon, Wilson, Landry, Harris and CJ can all go their own way.

    Id look into trading Coples.

I'd be interested to see what a full season with a health Milliner and McDougle would be like for our defense.

Otherwise, our o-line needs a total overhaul. Left tackle, left guard, right guard...

Problem is you can't go into 2015 with if healthy -- they come into 2015 as backups and you bring in starters. If either can beat them out great but they don't get the benefit of the doubt next year.

I honestly believe that, with wrapping up and/or willingly committing to multiple pieces on the offense, that there's going to be a QB change.

And I think that if they're right about the offensive pieces (Ivory, Decker, Amaro, Harvin, Kerley) that upgrading at QB will be much quicker and easier to figure out.

Sorry I thought a new QB was understood. Which veterans are free? A QB should look at the weapons on the Jets with an upgraded OLine and be very excited.

Look for Idzik to pursue someone like Sam Bradford.

I really doubt it, unless there's a new coach. Sam Bradford (if he is even cut) is very talented but far from a sure thing. I feel like unless Geno plays amazing over the rest of the season, they're going to sign a more sure vet. I just think some other team more confident in their QB coaching will value him more than us and take the risk, so I'm guessing either Moore or one of the many other FA vet QB's.

    Jake Locker
    Christian Ponder
    Matt Moore
    Mark Sanchez
    Matt Flynn
    Ryan Mallett
    Austin Davis
    Matt Hasselbeck
    Michael Vick
    Brian Hoyer
    Case Keenum
    Colt McCoy
    Jason Campbell
    Luke McCown
    Blaine Gabbert
    Scott Tolzien
    Joe Webb
    Tyrod Taylor
    Dan Orlovsky
    Kellen Moore
    Jimmy Clausen
    Tarvaris Jackson
    Shaun Hill
    Mike Kafka
    TJ Yates

If Percy keeps his nose clean and finds his niche and we sign Revis this team can be a contender. Especially if Pryor develops and we get a top 10 pick this year.

OL, OL, OL, OL! Dallas has the best OL in the league and theyre bulldozing people. The Jets would have never made it to the 2 AFC Championships if the OL wasnt so beastly. Zach Martin should have been our pick instead of Pryor.
