Is David Barrett sitting out again? I think we really missed him last week. No, he isn't great, but he has more experience than Miller and would have been valuable to help guarding Reggie wayne....

Exciting to see him get a shot, but we might very well be screwed on Sunday.

What is the status with David Barrett? Let's get this guy on the field.

Clayton says that there is a very good chance Barret will sit out again this week but his injury is coming along very nicely and will definitely be back next week

Who will he be matched up against? Im guessing Dyson will be on Reggie Williams. Jones is out so would it be Wilford?

Man, Miller just has horrible instincts, this kid better start pulling his head out of his turd launcher. Hopefully Coleman won't be tripping over his feet tomorrow.

Miller has so much potential, but has been making some bad moves. This move is for the better. See what you've got in Coleman.

I think Coleman will hold his own just for the fact Mangini stresses preperation and hard work. Thats exactly why Mangini only gets players with those qualities. So they can step in and know whats going on.

Interesting. Hopefully Miller improves, though. Coleman has made a couple good plays so far, and maybe he can make more if he starts

We could really use Barrett for the jags game, they've got very physical receivers and i reckon Barrett could of done the job against them

I think Miller might be the type of player that getting shamed on the bench might benefit, he is definitely a chip-on-the-shoulder waiting to happen.

I agree, a real "fiery" competitor personality IMO.

    Coleman is 5'9''
    Wilford is 6'4''

Anyone else think this is a bad idea?

Miller is 5'11" and faster, but doesn't cover well. I have no problem with the move. Leftwich isn't very good, and Coleman should cover well.

You're going to be hard pressed to find any CB that can match up well with those Jag WRs', physically speaking. Whether it's a good idea or not, there really isn't a significantly better choice right now. Those WRs should have their way with the secondary regardless of who Mangini puts back there, so I guess the emphasis should be on the front 7's pass rush. Make Leftwich beat the defense, not the WRs.
