The non call on the Carson Palmer rule where the guy went at the knees was huge as well. Would have been 15 yards and wouldnt have been pinned at the 5. The punt there was awful to compound that but getting the ball at the 20 instead of at the 5 would have been massive. Cant settle for so many damn field goals. Need another go to wide receiver.
Some really brutal calls tonight. Fuck the refs and the NFL. They took points off the board with those chickenshit holding calls. PI on Allen but Revis mugging Decker is fine. You think they throw the flag if Wilk dives at Brady's knee like that? The Patriot Rules were in play tonight.
The idiotic penalties are part of it. The horseshit calls are part of it. Flushing precious timeouts down the toilet, game after game is part of it. NEVER forcing a turnover is part of it. Constantly giving the ball away is part of it. Having a DOGSHIT Redzone offense is part of it. Giving up a TD in the final minute of EVERY fucking 1st half is part of it. Sub par QB play is part of it. Having zero explosive players is part of it. Having no NFL caliber cover guys is part of it. Terrible special teams play week in and week out is part of it. Bad luck is part of it. There are a lot of ingredients that go into 1-6. If we didn't have a check box next to some of those, we might have four wins this year. Unfortunately we qualify in every single category and that's way too much to overcome.
Um, Colon's hold was the only reason Geno was able to throw the touchdown pass...he was about to get sacked but Colon grabbed him. It's the very reason the rule exists...
the fact that we haven't successfully executed a two point conversion since the Carter administration. Seriously, throwing a fade/timing route? We can't come up with a higher percentage play for a couple of yards?
