I'm seen various threads/post proposing we keep/fire Idzik and/or Rex at the end of the season for this cluster fuck. I'm just curious as to what the actual TGG consensus is. I apologize beforehand it a poll like this already exist; mods feel free to close if that's the case.

My vote is to blow it all up by the way. Love Rex but it's time.

I'm not ready to vote just yet (I want to see how the season plays out), but if forced to vote now, this would be my vote as well.

Love the old Rex with swagger, not this Eunuch. Neither Rex knew sh*t about offense though and for that he has to go.

Get rid of both (Sorry Rex) ... find a VP Football of Operations ... let that guy hire football personnel guys, scouts and coaches. The less Woody is involved, the better the future will be.

Even though his draft picks have sucked for the most part, Idzik did pick the right positions to fill. Even though his signings have sucked for the most part, Idzik did pick the right positions to fill.

I'd give him a pass, hoping he improves his talent evaluations.

I just don't like the fact that there's no continuity throughout the organization. Making a general manager come in and keep a coach basically limits what the GM can do. He has to build a team to fix what Rex wants so he's building a team somewhat against the grain as some picks may be pushed for heavily by Rex and some by Idzik.

That's not to say it's all been Idzik's fault or it's all been Rex's fault but it doesn't put everyone on the same page. General manager instability is a huge red flag for a team trying to compete. The better franchises keep general managers around for 20 years like the Ravens & Ozzie Newsome. Hopefully Woody does it right this time and turns over the keys to Idzik to get his guy and get about two years to compete.

If it doesn't work then stop half assing it and completely clean house of the entire franchise and don't require your general manager to keep a coach. That's why it was an undesirable landing spot for the better personnel evaluators around the league.

I really need to see more games and probably the whole season before I actually make a call.

Keep both for one more year, then..........get in a new GM (if needs be) and give Rex one last chance. This years implosion is on Idzek and Woodys head imo

Sell the team to Eddie DeBartelo Jr. whose first move will be to hire Carmen Policy to beg, borrow or steal their way out of Metlife Stadium.

It's still a little too early.

I think Rex is done, unless he can find a way to win again. Every team faces injuries, you still have to find a way to win. The fact that Rex has never taking initiative on the offensive side of the ball and letting Marty call stupid pass plays when your in the redzone and making zero adjustments and letting this special teams run around with zero discipline, it all goes back to Rex. Rex this year looked like a coordinator with little control over the team, granted Idzik didn't really help him out much in free agency. Rex is probably toast, MM better be gone (he is an idiot).

I think it's too early for Idzik, maybe he has some grand master plan we can't see; it should be a one more year for him.

Idzik being a cap fixer he fixed the cap now let a real gm with his headcoach build a team with that, hire new scouts is also important.

A 3rd GM w/ Rex Ryan? I don't think that could ever happen.

Woody Johnson should give John Idzik a free hand to do what he wants to do at the end of the season. That's the best course of action.
