Give Idzik another year at least. Rex is the clown that needs to go, along with MM

thats what most g.m.'s were before they became g.m.s', they're not just born into the position they make their way up the ladder.

Ok the decision is made and although I'd start Vick I'm not against starting Geno. I'm glad he was benched.Itshould motivate him. If the Jets really believe in earning a job and a true Qb competition like Idzik has been preaching then a player performing poorly should be replaced. It should have been done a long time ago starting with Mark who as we all know had no true competition and was just handed the job. He has to know consciously and subconsciously that he has to perform to keep his job.

Apparently Geno missed team meetings on Saturday. Good job son.

Edit: it's a Mehta rumor so maybe take it with a grain.

We do but we don't,Eric Decker basically is our offense and without him there no one else can get open,CJ is washed up or isn't being used right or both,Vick is washed up,its funny I said all these things in The spring and everyone laughed and talked about Idzik and his stupid plan,I also said there wasn't a plan and Idzik was a joke in the spring. If Idzik does have a plan its to have Rex fired

Vick looked slow, uninterested or unprepared yesterday. Either way once again it doesn't matter who's the qb.

    It really doesn't matter.

The definition of insanity is relying on Brian Winters to protect you whilst David Nelson gets separation.

Geno has been benched in 4 of the 21 starts he has had. Name one good QB has has been benched 4 times in a 12-16 year career? If he was motivated before now, then he is not a good football player, let alone a NFL QB. Geno and Vick are made from the same mold, and there is a good reason no other team was willing to sign Vick and every team passed on drafting Smith.

as he should be, the problems go way beyond the QB. the backup came in and looked even worse than geno.

so fucking stupid. Just goes to show Rex doesn't know how to manage the QB position. Geno Smith should've been benched after last week's game in an announcement on monday. Then you give the veteran a week to prepare, you take some pressure off the young QB and give him time to learn that turnovers in this league aren't a small deal and results in people losing their jobs.. LOOK at what Buffalo did with Manuel/Orton - that's the smart way to manage the situation.

You don't continue to play him with the wheels coming off and he's destined to fail and then when he does fail put in the veteran cold off the bench for a "spark." Oh- and then go right back to him after the game. So fucking stupid.

Buffalo has been down so long, but right now, how about that they are a much better run organization? Unbelieveable.

Of course the Smith Fans here dont want Vick to succeed, so there's that.

I want Vick to succeed but there's a difference between wanting him to succeed and for him to actually succeed. The talent around him just ain't good enough like it was in Philly.

Buffalo has a pass rush and has some talented playmakers on offense. They better have a good year this season because their 1st round pick is gone in 2015, which is usually never a means for success in this league. Washington and Oakland both have suffered by giving up future draft picks in recent times.

I feel like with a week of first team reps Vick would be the better option. He was obviously rusty and didn't look ready.Give him a week of practice and he would be a better option then Geno,I think I would be a better option then Geno all I would have to do is hand the ball off three times in a row

Thank God for New York Comic Con next week.

I have something better to do than watch the meltdown continue next week.

I am guessing either a Demarcus Ware strip sack or a pick six in the first quarter will kick things off.

But again, it seems that Rex has given up. Geno is the started next week so its over for him and this season. Vick should get a full week starting now to get ready for Denver, not Geno.
